Emotions haywire,
Words cannot explain,
Lies from a liar,
All the pounding pain,
The thoughts within,
Tears streaming from my eyes,
Down my cheeks to my chin.
Impending train wreck,
Ready to de-rail,
Friends and family feel like they've failed,
Connections lost,
Never to be exhumed,
Until the day normality is resumed.
Trust, broken,
Like all of our minds,
Time it heals, lets hope that counts for us.
Evidence proceeds,
Humiliation occurs,
More tears, upon tears,
In a puddle they merge,
Shock to the system,
Now fizzling away,
Anger and hatred, following behind, it stays.
