Katherine's POV

A year later

Today was the triplets first birthday. Let me tell you it hasn't been easy but I've gotten through and when I say I. I mean it's just been me, Luke has been on tour for 7 months now. I just want him home here with his children.

I was busy doing some work whilst the triplets were sleeping. I finished typing when Luke's name came on my screen, he was calling me. I answered and smiled widely.

"Long time no talk Hemmings" I said and he smirked.

"Hello beautiful" he said and came closer to the screen.

"Oh my god I've missed you so much" I said wiping a tear and you could hear the boys in the background go 'Awww!'

"Aw baby stop you'll make me cry" he spoke also letting a tear slip but Lyric came running in.

"DADDY!" Lyric shouted and climbed onto my lap.

"Hello princess, you been good for mommy?" He asked smiling.

"Yeah I cleaned mwy room, put mwy toys away, helped fweed Isaac, Wiley and elody (Riley and melody)" she explained.

"That's right princess" I smiled at her.

"Aww well done, I really miss you" he said and you can tell he was hurting, his voice was shaky and you could see him playing with his fingers. He does that when he's upset.

"Daddy? Your cwoming hwome soon right? Like you pomised?" She asked and got close to the screen.

"I have to stay here for just a little why longer ok babydoll but daddy will be home soon to give you hugs and kisses" he explained and looked down. Lyric nodded and blew a kiss at him and walked off to her room sadly.

"I hate seeing her upset.." I sighed and Luke took his laptop to the bedroom and locked the door. "Babe?" I asked confused, he burst into tears.

"I can't take it anymore! I need to be home! My kids need me! You need me!" He cried and buried his head in the pillow beside him.

"I-i know I-it's hard but y-you'll b-be home soon" I whimpered.

"Babe I have 5 months left of this..that's a long time..I'm gonna have to quit..I'm going insane" he said.

"Luke you can't just quit! People have payed hundreds to see you perform! This is your dream" I cried.

"My dream is sitting here in front of me! She's crying! My dream is you, Lyric, Riley, Melody and Isaac!" He screamed.

"B-But t-this is y-your j-job.." I said.

"Well how about we make it..our job..you can join me, you know how to sing" he explained.

"Well yeah I do but not in front of thousands of people" I answered and wiped my tears.

"I'll be there right beside you" he reassured me.

"I'll think about it" I said and smiled slightly.

"Ok, I have to go I love you so much baby" he smiled and kissed the screen.

"Love you more" I smiled and kissed the screen also. He ended the call and I burst into tears again and well, my laptop was drenched in tears but I didn't care. All I want is my Luke home where he belongs..
