Oh glorious sun, shimmering sun,
That's what they say, it's what they always say.
Oh wondrous sun, sensational sun,
That's what they say, it's what they always say.
I shine my curves towards the pavement day.
As they all serve, laying beneath the grass bay.
They smile and they cheer, with skies no grey.
Oh pleasant sun, staggering sun,
That's what they say, it's what they always say.
The sky, blue as the lagoon surrounds my atmosphere,
He lies by, along with the cotton fluff clouds.
They are many of them, such a blockade to us both,
They come and go, shading away our love as one.
I always shine, for what is mine. The Sky.
The Sky so high, never leaves me by.
He tells me, he fades to darkness whenever I die.
He waits for my resurrection, to shimmering day he cries.
Oh glorious sun, shimmering sun,
That's what he says, it's what he always says.
