In a world not far from modern society, mysteries cause havoc, bringing upheaval to the down-trotting world. Mysteries kill and hurt others. But it isn't just your regular murder.

They live on in the hearts and brains of others, making sure that someone dies with them and their wonders. If they don't exist within a being, they turn into life, unfortunately. Those living, are the ones who murder life, just like they once did as existing thoughts. Its a lose-lose situation.

People don't want to accept such a brutal, such a horrifying fact. But it's true. Which causes even more imbalance, even more havoc.

However, then there are those who look for those mysteries. To defeat them, to kill them, to be a savior to others. Those are called the powered, the holy, the leaders. People blindly follow them, without an inkling, without knowing what really happens.

Those "holy" leaders, they kill those who believe in them. For what, you say? To cover up the truth. The truth is, they never killed those mysteries.

They never could kill them. The government needed them to get out, or they would be discovered. They even made a pact with the beings. Mysteries that were so strong, that they created a world for themselves to get away from our world. A life, a government. Cities, towns, states, anything and everything. They took the forms of those who "killed" them, and yet, they still could not be found. Whats the purpose of this you say?

Because, me, myself, is a person of mystery. I have the mysteries to solve mysteries.

What does that mean? Yet to be solved, it is a puzzle that still exists.

This talk of mystery must be confusing, correct? I have been told so. In fact, there's no need for you to worry. I was, in fact, the same way. Confused. I'm glad you heard my small lecture on life of my world.

Listen, I don't know how crucial this is on my part, but I tell you now, it's important you think about this. My life up to a certain point was just me not taking a risk. I noticed how wrong I was when I felt I did something right. You might think that I am here to just tell a story or something like that. That is not the case.

Maybe it is just a story to you, but the thing is, I won't be the one telling it completely. There's things I still don't know, probably something I will never know, or feel. But I think you can do it.

By the way, I am very sorry for not introducing myself first. My name is Alyona Borislav. I am the daughter of a retired fut-scientist, well-known in our vast province. Now a fut-scientist might not be what you think. My father was a part of the Future Dynasty, known as Fut-Dy. The association there was full of people like my father, who worked for the future.

He was the most diligent in his work, even as a 2nd class fut-scientist. He felt that the future was in the hands of everyone, and he was a leader. One day however, something had happened. My father felt a strange type of way about his work.

He felt like he couldn't trust his team. He couldn't trust his 1st class comrades. From that day, he continually got more tired and depressed. His work began to decline, and he seemed to get older. Every single day.

As it went on, I became more worried for my father, and tried to help the best I could as his daughter.

My mom, a famous traveler, had heard about father and tried to come from work to help him. However, I was only told this. I never have seen my mother, but my father has. He told me once, that my mom was a strange being, and that was all. And then he would tell me, he saw so much in me, so much of what he had seen in my mother. But when she left and he would tell me about it, he didn't seem devastated. Then this happened, and I was at a dead end.

I didn't have anyone to help me. I was alone.

With the help of other friends, I took care of him the best I could. Then, it happened. The most horrifying thing for a girl in my world.

My father's curiosity led him to do more than wanted. He was told to know too much, and his upperclassmen did something about it, to make him pay.

That was the day, mystery came forth and affected my life. That was the day I became like my father, and found the world of Mystery. The Mystic Portal was what led me there.

A/N: This was meant to be short for a prologue, so don't mind. I'm just experimenting! Also, I know a future scientist is called a futurist, but that's coming in later.
