Ruby

Wake up Stacy!! My sister called to me.Dad has a surprise for you. I hurried to get dressed. My dad told me to close my eyes and hold out my hands. He handed a little golden retriever puppy. I knew the minute I held her in my arms I was going to name her Ruby. Dad says I have to help take care of her and that she is my responsibility. I told him I would take care of her. My first task was to get her dog food, a food bowl, a water bowl, and a collar. So I went to the store with my mom and got Ruby every thing she needs. Once we got home I put Ruby's collar on her. We set up a bed for Ruby in my room. The next day I was taking Ruby for a walk when she ran into the dog park. At the dog park, I met a dog show manager. She said that Ruby would be able to win a first prize at her dog show if Ruby got the right training. That night at the dinner table I told my mom and dad about the dog show manager and our conversation. That night while I was asleep my parents talked about putting Ruby in the dog show. They looked up how much the prize money was for first place. What they found was that the prize was $5000  so they agreed to let Ruby enter the dog show.
