Voldemort's Grandchildren(Sequel to Nico and Neko's)

Chapter 12

Hey guys!Sorry I haven't updated in a little while, been really busy.Anyway, does anyone find it weird that the Voldemort's Grandchildren has more reads than Nico and Neko's?After all, Nico and Neko's is the first story of the series.But whatevs, I guess it doesn't matter.Comment, vote, flame!Dont be silent!

Jess' POV

I laughed, clutching my stomach as the last yells from the angry students echoed through the train corridor. Nico and I stopped laughing, breathing heavily."I can't believe that worked!"I said brightly. Percy nodded."Yeah, me neither, considering your ears and tails are in plain view."He said, pointing. 

I quickly tucked my tail into my shirt, pulling a cat ear headband (how ironic) from my pocket and placing it over my ears, moving my hair around as to add more cover to them. Nico  placed a black fedora on his head, flattening his ears as he tucked his tail into his black jacket. Annabeth snorted. 

"You know that we are gonna have to change into our robes soon, right?"She said, smiling. Nico and I sighed."Well we know now, thanks Annie."I said, scowling.I shrugged and looked at Nico."We might as well change now."He said, reaching up to grab his trunk.

I nodded. "Yeah that sounds about right, but you have to leave."I said, pushing Nico and Percy out of the compartment and closing the blinds so Annabeth and I could change.We finished quickly and waited outside for Nico and Percy to change.

They opened the door and we sat back down."Ok, its gonna be a long ride, so we should try to get some rest."Annabeth said, her voice muffled from the book she was reading.We all nodded, going to do whatever.

 Nico pulled out his own book and Percy and I tried to close our eyes.Just as I was about to fall into sleep, the noise of squeaky wheels reached my ears, snapping me out of my sleepy daze.

"Anything from the Trolley dears?"A soft elderly voice said.We snapped our heads to the voice, my eyes landing on an elderly woman with a trolley, the vehicle itself filled with brightly colored food I could only assume was candy.

"Um, sure."I said, pulling about twenty of the giant gold coins, galleons, from my pocket and handing them to the woman.Her eyes widened and she just scooped like, half the cart into her arms and handed them to us.

I laughed and split the candy, making sure I got a couple more pieces than everyone else.I looked at the small pile of candy surrounding me, trying to decide which one to eat first.I eventually decided on a box of jelly beans, my favorite.The box was labeled, "Bertie Botts Every Flavor Beans."

I opened them up and grabbed a handful.Leaning my head back, I dropped the whole handful into my mouth, and promptly spit them all out."Oh my god, that was nasty!"I shouted loudly, wiping my tongue with my robe dramatically.

Nico raised an eyebrow."What happened?"He asked.I gestured to the box of jellybeans."They lied to me!"I shouted.Nico rolled his eyes and picked up the box, looking at it."I cant read it."He said.I nodded.As a neko, I didnt have dyslexia, just ADHD, and I forgot that the others couldnt read stuff.

"It says Bertie Botts every flavor beans."I said.Nico nodded."Well thats what went wrong.It says, 'every flavor' and its wizard candy, so im assuming that they meant every flavor."He said, nodding his head.I grabbed the box and read the back.It did indeed say 'every flavor', it even included a small shortened list of what flavors there actually were.

"Peppermint, licorice.Ok, thats good.Tripe, fish, spinach and earwax, ok not so good."I said, frowning at the box.We heard a laugh come from the compartment door.I looked up and saw Harry."Yeah, you have to be careful around those.Anyway, I came to check on you guy, but it seems your doing fine without me."He said, shrugging.

I waved my hand around."Wait, scarface!You need to show me around this train here so I dont get lost or anything!"I said. getting up and stumbling around.Harry shrugged again."I dont think you would get lost, its only one long corridor, but i'll show you where we're sitting."He said, leaving.

I got up and followed him out the door."So, any idea what's gonna happen when we get to Hogwarts?"I asked, following Harry.He shrugged."I dont know."He said, going quiet.We walked in awkward silence, only hearing the laughs of other students as we passed the compartments.
