Well, those were the two most excruciatingly disappointing days of my life. The kids, most are so disrespectful. It's like the English kids in Florida all over again... I just want it to end already...
I must do this, though. I did not invest all my time to come here and fail. I came here to succeed and teach my native tongue --- no matter what attitude I'm given in return. If those High Schoolers want to be whiny little brats, let them! I'll still write on the board everyday that I'm Mr. Jones, and I am to be taught with respect. Maybe they'll catch on...
I printed out some English worksheets for them, the variance of English knowledge from them is scary. Some can only say hello, yes, and no. While others are almost fluent. I have to start from the basics no matter what --- I don't want to confuse the kids. I'll probably have higher level worksheets for the few that are very knowledgeable of English.
I hope these kids grow to like me, and stop shouting swear words, goofing around and all...
