I get home after shopping with my mom. Ugh she takes forever to shop.

We went shopping for the big masquerade ball tonight that we are hosting. 

I huff after setting all the stuff down. We have a mansion cause my mom works as a doctor and my dad the CEO.

It's kinda weird but I want my mate so this is why we are doing this ball.  I hope I find her the one for me. She must be beautiful.

Gosh I sound like a girl.

Well I better get this stuff done before tonight.

Alison's pov

I decided to skip school today cause I didn't really want to go today. At least it's Friday.

I head downstairs and I see my dad cooking some pancakes and eggs. I look at him shocked. I thought the kindness would ware off from him. I guess I was wrong.

I walk past him and sat down at the table. He smiles at me and finishes his cooking and hands me a plate.

"Here you go sweetie. Are you going to school today or nah."  I shake my head no. "I wanna hang with ya today if that's ok?" He nods his head and starts eating.

After we ate he then walks into the living room and asks "what movie do you wanna watch?" I think for a minute.

"Maybe we can watch pixels?" He nods and finds the movie and pops it into the DVD player.

The movie plays my dad and I start watching it. We both laugh at the funny parts. We were in the middle of watching the PAC man part when the doorbell rang.

I huff and get up "I'll get it."  He nods and turns back to the screen. I walk to the door and open it to see Amanda with both of our dresses in hand.

She looks at me annoyed. "Why aren't you in the shower yet missy we have a masquerade ball to get to and it starts in 2 hours."

Omg I forgot! I rush to my room and Amanda follows behind me. She gives me my dress and I head to my bathroom. I slip out of my clothes and put my dress on along with my heels and mask.

I walk out to see Amanda already ready but just one thing is missing. OUR MAKEUP OMG! We both put smokey eye and she put on light blue lipstick and I put deep red lipstick. Now we are ready.

We both walk out all ready to go. My dad sees us and his emotions show.
Happy and sadness. He walks up to me and smiles giving me a bone crushing hug while crying.

I pat his back and hug him back. Amanda looks all confused but I mouthed her later. After a while my dad and I seperate.

I wave goodbye to my dad. Amanda and I walk out.

I hope I find my mate I thought while getting into the limo my friend had payed for.
