Chapter 4: Ant Man

Sam said he was trying to get ahold of this Ant Man guy. I thought it was pretty cool that this guy almost had a normal life. Except for being a thief. Yes I looked through his file. I feel bad! Nope it was good that I did because then I'd know him a lot better. I heard the door open and that made me look up. Sam and who I guess is Ant Man. His name is Scott Lang.
"That's Captain America" Scott said pointing to Steve who had his arm protectively around my waist, "Dark Fire, right?"
"Yeah. Ant Man, right?" I asked smiling.
"Right" he said smiling.
"Awesome" I said crossing my arms over my chest before walking away to go check on Bucky who was sitting on the couch. I plopped down beside him and turned to face him with a smile.
"Hi there. How you doing? I'm sorry about burning you" I said pointing to the bandage on Bucky's arm. Bucky stayed silent and it kind of made me feel like he didn't like me at all, "okay. Well... uhh... I'm gonna... Go." I broke the awkward silence and got up off the couch. Steve didn't trust the government because last time he did they turned out to be rotten to the core. Now me, Steve, and Sam were seen as fugitives in the eyes of SHIELD and Tony. I didn't want to fight against Tony. He may be annoying sometimes but he was still my friend.  I wonder what Loki thinks about me being a fugitive. He's probably proud. I gripped Steve's dog tag tightly as I sat down in the room that I'll call a bedroom. Basically this whole issue drove us to underground hiding. I laid down on the blow up mattress that was made for two. Sometimes I wonder if I should've went back to Asgard. But I realize that I belong here in Midgard with Steve.
I laid my head back on the pillow and looked up at the stone ceiling. I closed my eyes and let my mind wonder. I didn't even realize that Steve was laying next to me. I felt a hand push my shoulder a little bit making my eyes open. I turned my head to see Steve next to me.
"Hey" Steve said as I scooted closer to him and snuggled up with him. I hummed in response as he wrapped his arm around me. I looked up to see Sam close the door with a smile.
"Thanks Sam" I mumbled before snuggling into Steve's chest. Finally some alone time with Steve, "we should get a dog."
"When all of this is settled, I promise we'll settle down" he said kissing my forehead.
"I'd name the dog: Cap. What would you name it?" I asked as he moved a piece of hair from my face.
"Maybe, Blaze. Or Flame" he said smiling.
"In the future, would you ever want kids?" I asked staring into his pale cobalt eyes.
"Of course. I've always dreamed about it but sometimes I think of what would happen to them in this world. But right now bringing a child into this mess would awful" he said.
"Good idea" I said as his words echoed through my mind. Breaking the silence my stomach growled, "do we have any food around here?"
"I'll go check" he said getting up and walking out of the room. I laid my head back and stared at the ceiling. I remember when Tony said about punching Steve in his perfect teeth. I didn't want them fighting. Steve came back into the room with a few things.
"Is that shawarma?" I asked as he sat the bag of left overs in front of me. I opened the bag and pulled on the sandwich and bit into it. I moaned with excitement as I continued to eat the food. I haven't eaten that much. I've been super hungry lately. Yesterday I got a little sick.
"Are you feeling any better from yesterday?" Steve asked feeling my forehead.
"I'm fine" I said as I continued to rip into that sandwich. I split the rest with Steve and then laid back from being full. Steve bit into his apple that he had brought with him. I laid my head in his lap and stared up at him.
"I love you" I said staring up at him with a kind smile.
"I love you too" he said bending down and kissing my lips softly. I smiled against his lips before breaking the kiss.

I hope I'm doing this whole Civil War thing right. If you have any ideas that I should do for the next chapters that you guys think will happen in Civil War, I would love your guy's ideas and suggestions. And if you know what will kind of happen in Civil War can you please tell me so I don't do anything stupid😂 and also what do you think will happen in the next chapter?~ Kenlee Faith❤️❤️
