I woke up to the sound of the door bell. My head feels as if my brain were trying to burst out of my skull, the thing is that's usually the feeling people feel after partying too hard. One I'm too awkward to party, Two I think you need a bunch of friends who really don't like you, three I only go to parties for food.

"Hello." The person said as they knocked." I wobbled to the door. sleep still sealing my eyes and keeping them from opening. My mind was still asleep. I had fallen asleep watching Breaking bad, a show everyone seems to watch. who knew someone could get so attached to show about...well...meth.

My Hand sat steadily against the door as attempted to look through the peep hole, I noticed the person had put there finger on it. Covering themselves from my vision. I sighed and shook my head.

The only person I knew who did that was Alec.

"Open the door please, its your mailman." He said in a false low tone voice. I shook my head and smiled at his attempt, He always tried these stunts with me, assuming he'll trick me or get me convinced.

"Mailmen don't come inside they stay outside." I said on the other side of the door, as I leaned against it to hear a response.

After a moment of silence I heard the sound of a key turning in the lock. My eyes widened and my heart started racing, was this not Alec? I took a step back and stared at the door.

After a moment of fumbling, finally the door swung open. I stood there in astonishment, My hands where on my eyes, as if i thought that was going to do anything. i slowly moved my hands down and saw, Alec with a backpack on.

I glared at him as he put his bag down. My mind was at a loss as to why he was there or how he actually opened the door...my eyes didn't leave him at all.

He looked at me and smiled.

Alec and I have been friends since 4th grade. We were the weird kids in school who got picked on and watched over by our peers like little delinquents. We've always been there for each other. I guess I was the only one who got his weird jokes and he was the only one who could tolerate my awk vibe.

He's also always been an idiot, but my idiot.

"How the hell did you get in here." I said eyeing him angrily, and bit creeped out by his ability to get in with no problem.

He smirked and pulled out a paper clip "Master paper clip skills baby." He was always good with problems solving, he would probably be the one I would want to be stranded on a island with. he would find us a way out, but later on get us stranded again...

I giggled a little.

"If you can do that then shouldn't I be worried that your secretly a stalker?" I said, rubbing my forearm awkwardly, as I stared at him.

He glared at me seriously. "Yes." He said while trying to keep a straight face but slipped in a smirk an chuckled.

We both laughed. He had a glimmer of excitement in his eyes as he held his back pack. "What's in the bag dumby?"

He pulled out a huge box . "Guess what!" he said with enthusiasm. I thought for a second, "an early birthday gift?!" I said jockingly. he scoffed and smirked, "Guess again." He said shaking the box. I was at a loss, "Come on think of the old days." He said as he eyed me. finally I thought 'no he couldn't have.' my eyes widened and I smiled wildly. "You didn't!"

He smiled, "oh I did!" He said dragging his backpack with one arm and hugging the box against his chest.

He shivered with joy and opened the huge box exposing the candy.
