All the memories, the pain of never doing things right, the wet paws and fur dripping on the roads, and warm fur at night. I'm Flower, and this is my story, my story about rogue life.

When I was a kit my parents were killed by a bear. I lived on my own for 6 moons then met a cat named Stone. Stone was a tiny cat that didn't seem scary at the time, but I never knew he'd be the cat I fear the most. He invited me to a city full of rogues so I accepted and joined. The city was full of mean cats, and I soon found out Stone was the worse. He'd hurt me if I did something wrong or if I forgot to do something or even if I just slept a second after the time I should be awake by. I feared him and I wanted to get away, but I had to take a cat in the group, a cat I met soon after by the name Haze.

I woke up one morning to a harsh blow on my side. I huffed for breath as I got up and saw the tiny grey cat that I hated so much.
"Get up kittypet!", hissed Stone.
I got up and walked to the pond nearby the alley. It was peaceful here and it didn't smell as bad as the huge dumpsters did back in the alley. I felt fur next to me and a grey cat with black ears, paws, and tail tip sat next to me.
"Hello! I'm Haze! Who are you?", he asked with his striking icey blue eyes staring at me.
"I'm Flower.....", I said with a small twitch.
This cat is nice! I thought in my head.
Haze smiled at me and flicked his tail towards the pond.
"Want to hunt? Stone won't be happy if we don't bring something back", he purred slightly.
I nod and I watch the pond waiting for the fish to come. As I slash at the water to catch a fish I splash Haze who, instead of splashing me back, pushed me into the pond. I gasp at how cold it is and I pull him in laughing. We played all day and went back home with a fish then slept a few feet away from each other.

A yowl woke me up and I saw Stone sending patrols out.
he never sets patrols..... What's going on? I thought to myself.
I followed the patrol and it led straight to DreamClan. I sat watching as the clan and rogues got into an argument. Then, it happened, a fight broke out and I pulled as many rogues as I can off the clan cats. The fight stopped and the rogues went back home whispering Traitor as they went. I helped the clan cats then went back home only to have the worse beating ever.

Stone hissed at me and I stared at him.
"Why did you help them!?", he growled at me.
I look at the ground trying to avoid his cold grey glare.
"It felt wrong to see innocent cats hurt", I finally whispered.
Stone hissed and slashed at my ear hard. Blood oozed out of the wounds. I stared at him then turned, and ran. I stopped at the pond to look at my reflection. Two tears showed up on my now blood red ear. My blue eyes filled with hatred. I couldn't trust anyone but Haze now, Haze had all my trust. I cleaned my ear trying to make it the white it once was. My paws trembled and I slept outside of the alley that night. It was cold but soon warmth filled my body when fur touched mine.

I woke up slowly and saw a fish right next to me. I stared at it before familiar black paws came to view.
"Oh hey! You woke up!", I looked up to see Haze meowing.
I nod slowly and he smiled a bit. I got up and sighed.
"Hey your ear doesn't look so bad", he softly spoke.
I knew he was trying to calm me down but it didn't work. I walked to the alley only to see a few cats there.
DreamClan! my mind yowled.
I raced to DreamClan to see if the rogues were there and sure enough, they were.

I saw Stone fighting the leader of the clan and I sprang at him breaking the fight and I turn at him hissing.
"TRAITOR!", he yowled at me and I smirked.
"At least I'm not a killer and I don't abuse cats!", I hissed.
He glared at me then retreated with the group, which luckily, Haze wasn't in. I looked around and helped the cats around me. I noticed that I've escaped the alley, but Haze didn't, I forgot all about him. I promised myself I'd look for him and I did but there was no sight of him.

A few days later I was killed by a clan cat who heard of the fight. He didn't know I was good but I came back as ShadeClaw. I never stopped my search for Haze but there was still no sight of him anywhere. I gave up but kept him in my mind, and my heart. I grew up in DriftClan thinking I'll see him again sometime.....

And I did.....
