I heard the Loud, irritating sound of my alarm clock as I pull my body out of my bed. I look at the time, 7:30, I wanted to pull my body back into bed and get lost in the huddles of covers but I know I couldn't because today was I day I couldn't sleep through.
You see for the last few days since my time at the hospital I have just been in bed doing nothing, I have been waiting and waiting for a text of one of my friends but they haven't called or texted me. They really don't care do they.
I pick up my new pink I phone, my mum bought me but strangely she never let me add any of my friends numbers in it because I don't need them where I'm going.
I'm going to boarding school, the land of the rich and snotty teens. I've prepared for it though my mum bought me all new clothes so I look like a Paris Hilton wanna be. She also told me how to act, she said "always bring up the fact you won prom queen". But I though I would complete the transaction by a new nick name- beth.
I get up and put on the school uniform issued for me to wear, it's worse than my old schools and I thought there was no school in the world that could do that but to my surprise I'm sliding on a red and green tartan skirt, that goes past my knees with a crisp white shirt tucked into it. The shirt had a red tie with the schools logo embellished on it. The black blazer also has the logo on the pocket.
The white socks go on my feet followed my the shiny black brogue type shoes. I leave my room. I walk down to see my parents in the hallway with my luggage.
We all walk to the car. After squeezing 3 suitcases into the boot we set off. I hopelessly gazed out of Until I saw the sign leaving my life in hart. We kept driving past the forests and green lands that I once had so much fun in, we kept driving until we saw the sign leaving Hampshire and also leaving my life behind.
After a few hours driving, we arrived at a big, classical building, which would be my home for the next block of my life. We pulled into the gate, I saw the sign. It read Bearwood College.
We got into the grounds and we were greeted by Mr.chawsum, the head teacher.
"Hello, Elizabeth, I'm Mr. Chawsum and this is my school"he says
"thanks for having me here" I politely smile
"it's my pleasure, I will have some of the senior boys take your bags to your room" he smiles "but right now I'll show you where it is"
I turn to say goodbye to my parents but they have already left, I wave to them as they drive down the driveway.
I follow the man as we walk through the school and to the out houses. He would stop from time to time to show me something that the school had or a fact about the school history but this made the journey 10 times longer. We finally walk up to one of the 4 houses this one had a gold plated sign next to the door that says 'the eagles, look down from the highest point of academic success' I'm guessing that must be the house motto.
When I begin the head leaves me in the hands of Katie a 20-Somthing woman who looked after all the kids who live here, she takes me up to the second floor and room, 28.
She opens the door and I see a beautiful girl, with a beaming smile and long health brown hair. She walks up to me instantly "hello, it's wonderful to meet you"
"nice to meet you too" I reply
She seems very preppy but still very nice. She begins to introduce her self "I'm Portia Remington"
Her parents must be crack pots to name their kid Portia, I mean it's a car, not a childs name.
"I'm Beth Huntington-Smith"
