Hermione was on a date that could get her killed.

Or worse, expelled.

She thought of how every little muggle girl wanted to be a princess with a handsome prince who wore flowing capes and rode unicorns. She'd been one of those very girls who'd fallen into the fairy tale trap.

But now, as Hermione's cloak billowed behind the pair, she knitted her fingers into a death grip on his uniform and squeezed her eyes tight as they rode on an actual, literal, unicorn.

"My father knows a guy," said Draco when trying to get Hermione on the thing. It was a good eight feet tall, a couple tons, with a pure white coat and a mane and tail that shed rainbow light off of it like a prism. Its horn looked like it was made out of pure marble, which was pretty scary looking. The thing whinnied louder than a jet engine. The thing's name was Amasius, and as beautiful as it was, it was terrifying.

However, a few moments later, Hermione was on it's back, going full speed. Her hands were knitted so tight onto Draco's cloak that she couldn't have let go if she tried. Her hair was pulled into a braid on her left side, but Hermione could feel the chunk of hair whipping behind her in the air. Her mouth was agape in a silent scream. In front of her, her knees tightly squeezed Draco's sides. She heard him laughing in front of her. "You afraid?"

"Terrified!"

At that word, Draco stopped the beast and swung off easily. He held out his hands to assist Hermione. She, however, was no where close to being an expert at dismounting unicorns. She tried to emulate Draco, swinging one leg then sliding down, but her foot got caught. She fell with a scream and Draco attempted to catch her. However, gravity was too quick for poor Draco, and she fell, thudding her mouth against Draco's by accident. They hit the ground with a thud, and Hermione landed squarely on top of her date.

She must've squealed a thousand times, "I'm sorry!" But Draco laughed, blood trickling down the corner of his mouth. Hermione still laying on top of him, he wrapped his arms around her and turned so that he was atop of Hermione on the cool forest ground. He pulled his wand from his pocket and performed quick spells that healed whatever was bleeding in his mouth and healed the scrape on Hermione's cheek, all the while remaining on top of her. Finally, when the blood was gone and the cuts were healed, he said, "If you wanted a kiss, all you had to do was say so."

And then, with no further ado, the pair proceeded to snog on the ground of the cool forest.
