"I love you too,"
Roi's voice slowly fades, as reality hits me and it's almost time for school.
I trudged to the bathroom in my teddy bear blouse, as I feel a pain in side. When I get to the mirror, I look at myself and see a white girl. But then I look at my skin and see black everywhere. Sort of a dark caramel mocha. And then I wonder, "What does he think of me?"
Every morning as I get ready, he's always on my mind...
"Bye! I'll get something on my way this time," I say to my parents as I leave, "Love you!"
If only it was that easy to say to him...
When I get to school, Roi is handsomely waiting for me at the school's main doors.
I love him...
"Hey, Dimplesnoort!" Roi shouts at the top of his lungs.
He knows he only calls me that when we hang out together.
"You said that was our little secret, Swinzeldoorf..." pinning him against the door like a mafia boss, trying to get answers out of punks.
"Just only this one time," he laughs as his face turns red as a baboons butt, and scrunched up like pugs. I let him go and he says, "Maybe not..."
"Let's just go to class."
"Race ya!"
One thing you should know about me is that I'm on the badminton team, and we jog seven laps before we practice. Soo...
"You're on..."
As we shoot our way through students and teachers in the hallways, we get faces from people, but I don't care at all. I'm just having fun... When we get to class, there are at least fifteen minutes till class starts. Mrs. Foogle is already there, checking out online cat videos. She's ones of those weird hippie teachers that seem weird, but she's cool. If Roi and I had to pick a favorite teacher for eternity... it would definitely be her.
"Sup kiddos, what brings you to the most mystical place of daytime prison?"
"We came to try out 'The Daily Disherino'," Roi said in a mythical tone.
"Besitos de coco... crisp... little balls... of coconut heaven. Half cookie and half crumble, these treats will satisfy your sweet tooth and kick that coconut craving."
It was so good.........
"It's like little coconuts dancing on your feet... ahh..."
And then, *poof* school was over. Just. Like. That.
After school, Roi and I separated our ways. He was getting ready for his Christmas party, later tonight. There would over about... let's say, maybe 500 people. I know, and to him that's a small party...
He had also called me over to decorate, so I grab three of my best friends. Nuffi and Naffi (they're twins, and their mom went a little crazy with the names. On the bright side, they're really cute names... And there's also Bri who a bit cheery and preppy at times. But you got to love them
"Just tell him already! You guys would be so cute together..." Nuffi says.
"I wish it was that easy girls, really, I wish. It's hard to because it would be awkward..."
