I woke up to the sound of a buzzing noise, my alarm clock. I never knew how to turn it off so I always took the batteries out then put them back in. I went to go wake up Marcel, but when I got there he was already awake.
"Good morning." I say
"Good morning." He said back
I got him some breakfast and I went to my room to get changed.
When I got back, we walked out of the door and to school. Once we got there, we say the guy who beat up Marcel.
"What do you want, Chris?" Marcel said
"Oh I just want to know why you need a girl to defend you."Chris said
Marcel bit his lip and walked away without making eye contact with anyone.
I tried to walk away to, but Chris pushed me against a locker and said
"Hey, I'm sorry about what I said to you yesterday. How 'bout we go to a movie later?"
I gave him a puzzled look, "after what you did to Marcel yesterday? Ha not a chance. I would never go somewhere with a jerk like you."
I the pushed his arm away from me and tried to fond Marcel. I looked back at him and he looked disappointed yet mad.
I finally found Marcel," What's his problem?" I asked
"I don't know, I-i guess he thought I was weak and I couldn't do anything to help myself." He answered.
"Wow I didn't know that-"
"Yeah c-can we change the subject?"
So all the way to class we talked about past years in our life. But we never brung up Cris
