You knocked twice and stepped back out of the short hallway leading up to the door, double checking your phone for the location Namjoon had sent you earlier in the day."I swear to God, if he's sent me the wrong address..." You muttered under your breath. Your trip had been difficult enough so far already and you definitely didn't need anything else to get in the way.
You must've picked the worst possible day to fly over, because your flight ended up being delayed for a couple of hours due to extreme winds. Even once you had arrived in Seoul the weather was still ridiculously stormy. You would've made a comment about it being out of character for the time of the year, but you hadn't been to Korea in so long you weren't quite sure what counted as normal weather there anymore.
You pulled your coat tighter around your body as you watched the tree branches whipping about from outside the window. You were thankful that the building had a small foyer at least, or else you'd be waiting outside in that weather. You didn't really want to get taken out by a tree on your first day back in the country.
There was no noise coming from the other side of the door at this point, and you were starting to worry that maybe you had actually gone to the wrong place. Before you could unlock your phone to angrily call Namjoon though, the sound of rapid footsteps and mumbling were audible through the door and seconds later it was swung open to reveal Namjoon. Looking as... Namjoon as ever.
"Am I wrong to guess you just woke up or something?" you frowned. "Jesus Namjoon it's the middle of the afternoon!" You turned your phone to face him, showing the time. He squinted at the bright light that had suddenly been thrust into his eyes before pushing it away and defending himself.
"Hey it's not my fault, you were supposed to be here ages ago, but you weren't so I took a short rest. Is that a problem?" He ran his hand through his hair, and the two of you stared each other down for a moment before simultaneously breaking into smiles and laughing at each other.
"To be fair, I did try to call you to let you know about my flight being delayed but I guess you must've been preoccupied at the time."
"Whatever, at least you're here now," Namjoon said as he waved away your attempt at explaining. "Are you going to come inside or what?" He gestured behind self and before he could step out of the way you nudged past him into the spacious living area. You ignored his muttering about your impatience and you heard the door shut behind you.
The first thing you noticed, was the sheer amount of /stuff/ around the place. It wasn't messy at all, it was even quite spacious. There were just lots of full shelves. Lots.
"How is it possible for just you to fill up this entire place by yourself? Don't you ever get lonely or anything in a place this big?" You queried as you walked down the hall, counting the numerous doors and examining all of the books and souvenirs on the many shelves around the place.
Namjoon didn't answer, he just took a seat on the arm of the couch and watched you explore the area with a smile on his face.
"Wait, since when were /you/ into anime?" You laughed, picking up a titan mask from one of the shelves and posing dramatically with it.
"Ah, that's not mine it's--" He stopped himself mid-sentence. At that, your interest was piqued.
"What? Is it your girlfriend's? Do you have a girlfriend?" You put the mask back and playfully pestered him about it.
"It's not like that, you see--" His sentence was interrupted by the front door opening and chatter spilling into the room.
Either a large group of people had just somehow walked into the wrong place, or there was something you were missing here.
