Aphmau
I sit on the edge of my balcony with my hair whipping in the wind and my white silk dress blowing. Zane's eyes were planted in my head. I couldn't stop thinking about them. They were so beautiful. His eyes were like windows into his soul. I could tell he was trying to keep his distance from me. I was someone who brought back memories. Bad ones. His eyes glowed with grief when he looked at me. His beautiful eyes.... I feel a tear trickle down my cheek.
I was going to see him again.
I just had to.Zane
I was going to see her again. Alone this time.
Mothers maid, Violet, was bringing me. She didn't say a word to me though. She was scared of me, I could see this plain as day. She kept giving me nervous glances as if I would do something dreadful if she didn't keep a eye on me. Stupid woman. She shifts in her seat.
"We have arrived in Pheniox Drop, Master Zane." She speaks in a tight whisper. I nod.
"Thank you very much, Violet. I look forward to seeing you again."Pheniox Drop is glowing with the last of the day's sunlight. A butler is hurrying me into the castle.
"She is on the balcony, Mr. Romeave. I'll leave you both alone." The butler says in a hushed tone before he scurries away. I give him a nod and turn to the balcony.
I freeze at the sight of her.
She's wearing a shear white, long dress that flows freely in the wind. Her hair cascades down her back. The sunset is just like a painting behind her.
She's like a goddess.
"Lady Aphmau..." I sing quietly. She turns her head and smiles at me.
"Zane...I was wondering when you were to be coming. It's nice to see you again."
