Chapter 5: Preparation
So here I am, sitting in my room, going through my closet trying to decide what to wear. I put on one outfit and look in my mirror."OMG! NO! This makes me look fat!" I said so then I would take it off and try something else on. "Yeah no. What am I supposed to wear?!" I yelled. I finally settled with a super cute mini skirt with leggings, and a ruffled spaghetti strap top. I did my makeup and threw on my flats. I had to straighten my super afro hair. I pulled my hair half up, and grabbed my purse. "Okay dad! See you later!" I said. "Okay bye honey! Love you, and remember, NO KISSING!" He laughed. "Dad it's our first date, I'm pretty sure there will be no kissing!" I said as Henry knocked on the door. "Oh please tell me he didn't hear that!" I thought. "Hey Amber!" said Henry. "Hey Henry!" I replied as he handed me a group of colorful daisies. "AWWWW thanks!" I said. "No problem" he replied. At that moment, we walked to his mom's car and were off to the ice rink.
