Chapter 26- Pillow Talk

3 weeks later...

Maddie and I sit down under a tree at school enjoying the calm weather, both us don't speak. It's like we don't even need words anymore it's odd.

"Hey." Maddie says breaking he silence...okay maybe we do need words.

"Yeah?" I ask opening my eyes to see her giving me an uncertain look.

"Are we growing up too fast?" She quickly speaks, I sit up properly taken by surprise by her deep question.

"We're fine, what makes you think that?" I ask trying to be all nice and shit

"Like, ember is getting big but not for her passion and Ariel is working on some new projects that aren't even cheerleading and you're more media than soccer and I feel like I'm the only one being sane but then again I'm getting left behind I-I just don't think this whole thing" she says making a hand gesture towards me "isn't working for me." She finishes.

"'Thing?" I ask wanting more info from her.

"Yeah like I don't know, like I always thought out of all of us I would be the one to leave for fame or whatever but now it's like you guys are all getting big and leaving the things you love or the people you love for it but I just don't think I want to...I don't know I just don't think I want to, you know...Be here anymore. I want to move back to Australia. There's no one left for me." She spills. Wow.

I would of never thought Maddie would be capable of saying or feeling those things. Not be rude but she has always been a little shallow when it comes to things like these.

"Madison, I'm still here for you." I say sincerely.

"No, no you're really not." She says, her voice starting to fill with anger. "You're all the same Levi. You're all so worked up about yourself you never stop to look at the world around you! Or the people around you! Ember is slutting around with random famous guys to her herself more spread while Ari is completely alone and you haven't talked to her about any of this! But you, you Levi are the worst by far. You literally threw away everyone from your life to become what? This? YOURE RUINED LEVI! Go talk to Brooklyn, oh wait you threw him out too."

"Levi I really wish I could talk but I have to go, sorry! Talk later boo I promise!" And with that she ends it, did she call me boo?

"HEY LOVLY SORRY I CANT GET TO THE PHONE RIGJT NOW!" Her voice yells over the loud music, straight to voicemail. Nice.

Brooklyn? No... Danny? Yeah ok Danny.

"Danny?" I ask into the phone not knowing how he would react since u haven't talked to him in literally ages.

"Levi! It's been so long, what's up greenie?"

"Greenie?"

"Your eyes go green sometimes, duh! So whatcha doin'?"

"Literally nothing. I'm sitting here alone."

"Where's Allison?"

Oh yeah Allison and I moved in together since she is basically my family up here.

"Furniture shopping for her room."

"Well you should totally come hang with me since Im your fav person in the world."

"Uh...sure."

"Really? Wow okay um I'm at..."

"Levi! You've grown up so much!" Danny says crushing me with a hug.

I turn away from him to see a smirking Brooklyn, oh how I missed that view.
