I finished tying the last knot into the house as the wind continued to furiously blow. Before getting down I took one last look at our sad excuse of a roof.

But it was our sad excuse of a roof.

I smiled before jumping down and scraping my hands and knees for the millionth time today. I wasn't alone though. Denton, Hunter, and even Zylen were all scraped up.

But after a long time, we finally finished the house.

It was time to do my favorite part which was to decorate it and make it look nice!

The problem is that we have next to nothing to decorate with. Which sucks. But we do have a few things that I could use.

One of the things we have is this big ass piece of really fluffy and warm fabric which I want to spread out onto the ground of the house which we could sleep on and even cuddle under if it gets real cold. It covers about half the house. The house isn't big to begin with though.

I started getting to work by putting the one suitcase for food in the corner of the house where the pups and Muffin will sleep. I made sure to put down the fabric first of course. I think I'll just call it a blanket :P

I put our tiny water filter next to the pile of wood in the corner of our house. I put the suitcase filled with other random crap next to the pile of wood.

I put three of these big ass leafs (like the leaves you see on those tall as fuck tropical trees) in front of the entryway to act as a "cool" door/barrier. Whatever it looks nice.

When I finished with everything it actually didn't look half bad! I was proud of myself, and the boys too for helping me build this.

But it was my idea so most of the creds go to me haha!

"This place looks great." I heard Zylen say.

"Yeah, it better! This place took forever to make a reality." I said.

There was silence for a bit.

"C-can I tell you s-something?"

"Of course!"

"Mia...I-I l-like you....a lot and I-I w-wanted to know i-if you felt the same."

"Of course I feel the same way!" I said.

"R-really?"

"Yeah isn't it obvious? I mean, I don't think I can be friends with someone I don't like, haha!"

"Oh..." he said as his whole face dropped.

Did he not like my response? I thought he'd be happier.

"W-well, I'm glad." he said smiling.

"We should probably find the other guys and have lunch."

He nodded in response.

We were all surrounded by the newly burnt out fire eating our cooked fish and some berries for celebration. We gave Muffin extra fish and decided to let the pups try some fish.

We were all talking about just random stuff that came to our minds, as usual. We even started talking about memories from back home, though I didn't have much. But it was fun to listen to the others.

"Hey guys, what's that?!" I heard Denton yell.

We all looked up in sync to see the same thing. A circle shaped flying thing with a tail on the end.

"A helicopter?" I questioned.

"Yeah, I think it is!" Hunter said excitedly.

The helicopter was loud and seemed to be circling the area around us.

"Hey, down here!!" I started to yell.

"Down here!!" Hunter yelled.

We all began to call endlessly for help, hoping we could go back home and go back to our regular lives.

If this works and they get us then....

I can watch my anime again!! Oh, just imagining all of the new anime that's probably came out while I was away from home makes me want to go even more.

"Hey asshole, are you ignoring us?!!" I yelled.

Suddenly, the helicopter slowly made its way down landing down on the sand.

Maybe I shouldn't have called him an asshole?

"Ah, our test subjects are still alive! Jimmy come look at this!" a man said getting out of the helicopter.

"Test subjects?" Denton asked.

"One moment please. Jimmy! Hurry on up and take some notes, will ya?!" the man continued to yell.

"Go get Muffin and the pups." I told Zylen.

He nodded firmly and went into the newly built house to go get them.

"What's this about test subjects, huh?" Hunter asked confused.

"Well, now that Jimmy is here, finally, he's going to ask you guys some questions if you don't mind. Oh, and we'll explain all of this on our way back home."

Zylen came out with Muffin and the pups and sat down next to me. We all exchanged nervous looks with each other.

Were we test subjects? But for what?! And they said they were taking us back home.

So, is this one of the last times we're gonna see each other...?
