Taylor wanted this to be perfect, she had spent the whole week planning. She had booked a house for her and Karlie rather than stay at the hotel because she needed to have access to the kitchen to propose; she was going to recreate the first day they spent together (minus Dianna, of course).

Karlie had just returned from her mid morning run and was now showering, this was Taylor's chance to get everything ready. She put all the things they needed to bake cookies on the counter, she got Karlie's apron, she put on her apron, feeling to make sure the ring was still in the pocket.

"Taylor, what are you doing?"

"Oh, um. I thought we could make some cookies for loft tonight."

"Babe, you have to put on a show in like 8 hours, and you want to bake cookies? Shouldn't you be relaxing?"

"The truth is, I really want to spend some quality time with you and this reminds me of the first day we spent together."

"That's all you had to say, silly. Suit me up."

Taylor put Karlie's apron on for her and they began to mix up the dough. They talked and laughed and goofed around; Taylor almost forgot that her heart was beating through her chest. Karlie was putting the cookies in the oven, Taylor took the ring out of her pocket; she got down on one knee. Karlie turns around and her hands immediately go up to her face.

"What are you doing?!"

"Kar, I'll never forget the first time I saw you. I was having the worst night, actually the worst month, but when I saw you, it was like there was nothing else in that room; nothing I had felt that last month mattered anymore. It felt like there was an octopus tickling the inside of my tummy; I knew in that moment that I wanted you to be a part of my life forever. I started falling in love with you that very first day, when you pretended to be my girlfriend, the night we baked cookies and drank wine; I have fell in love with you more every day since that day. You have inspired me to be a better person these last few years; your kindness, your drive, your patience with me when I've been an idiot. Karlie, you came into my life exactly when I needed you; you saved me. I almost lost you a while back because I couldn't accept myself for who I was. I don't want to ever lose you, Kar. I want to grow old with you. I want to spend the rest of my life with you. Karlie, will you marry me?"

"Dammit, Taylor!"

Taylor is confused, especially when Karlie walks away and heads into the bedroom. She follows her in, and sees her rummaging through her suitcase.

"Kar?"

"Got it!"

"Got what?"

Karlie spins around on one knee, holding a ring that is very similar to the ring Taylor is holding.

"I was going to do this tonight when loft was over, I told the crew to wait before taking down the stage. I was going to take you back out there and propose to you on the stage, the place where I watched you be yourself this past year, the place where I fell in love with you a little more each night. Taylor, you inspire my kindness, and my drive. You think that I saved you, when in reality we saved each other. I want more than anything to grow old with you. I want to watch our children and grandchildren grow into beautiful beings. I'm saying yes, and I'm hoping you will too. You know for me it's always you."

"Karlie, I love you."

"And, I love you. Swift, did we just get engaged?"

"I believe we did."

Both put their rings on each other's fingers and shared a passionate, teary, kiss.

DING!

"Oh, crap, the cookies!"

Karlie sprinted to the kitchen and saved the cookies from being burnt. They spent the rest of the afternoon with each other, kissing, cuddling, facetiming friends and family to tell them the wonderful news. They were talking to Karlie's sister, Kimby, when she asked something they hadn't really talked about.

"How are you two love birds going to break the news to the world? I assume now that you're engaged, you're going to let the world know how cute and in love you are."

"Shit, we haven't talked about that yet Kimby."

"Actually, I have been thinking about it for a while. I was going to ask you if you'd come out during Style to walk the catwalk, I'd introduce you as my fiancé."

"Taylor! That is BRILLIANT! Fans will pass OUT! Make sure you have someone recording this shit because I want to see it when you get home!"

"Babe, you really want to introduce me as your fiancé? Are you sure you're ready for this?"

"I told you last month, I'm ready."

"This is perfect, I'm going to go plan my celebratory tweet! See you guys when you get home!"

Taylor was up on stage, she just finished singing Love Story, she had hinted to the fans that she had a special guest and just before she sang Love Story, she talked about how her own love story was falling into place. This was it, there's no going back now; she's coming out to the world, introducing her future wife, in about thirty seconds.

"Melbourne, you have been so lovely to me these last few nights. This whole tour has been spectacular, you guys, the fans have been by my side, defending me, loving me, accepting me, since the very first day. I haven't always been completely honest with you guys, most of you will understand why, actually most of you have already figured it out. I'm about to bring out my special guest, who just so happens to be my fiancé; I'm sure you've spotted the ring tonight."

Taylor holds up her hand to show off her ring, the fans are screaming so loud she can't hear herself think. This has to be the loudest they've ever been; they are chanting Kaylor. She can see one girl next to the catwalk taking her puffer, she can't help but laugh.

"Melbourne, please give a warm welcome to the love of my life, my future wife, Miss Karlie Kloss!"

Two girls in the front row passed out, security is trying to wake them back up. Taylor thought the fans were loud a minute ago, they are ten times as loud now. Karlie walks up to Taylor, grabs her hand and kisses her cheek, they strut down the catwalk together as Taylor finishes singing Style.

The lights go out, the 1989 world tour is over. Karlie is waiting for Taylor; as soon as she ducks down from the elevator, she is smothered with kisses. They check their phones (which have blown up with congratulatory messages from their friends and family), to see how the world is handling their big announcement.

"Move over Brangelina, Kaylor is in the house!"

"Omg, omg, omg! I knew it! I knew they were in love! They had to be they are the cutest couple!!"

"IMAGINE THEIR BABIES, I AM DEAD"

"I CANNOT BELIEVE I GOT TO WITNESS THAT WITH MY EYES"

Taylor has never felt so happy and proud in her life, this is it, this is her life. Sure, there will be people who don't approve, but that doesn't matter, because as she told her fans each night, you are not the opinion of someone who doesn't know you. She has love and support from her friends, her family, her fans; best of all she has Karlie, and she always will. What more could she ask for?
