Ch 1.

Kayla's POV

Alright, so I'm Kayla, just incase you didn't know that. I'm a 13 year old girl. Truthanator, Peytonator, Spencernizer, Karanic, yeah, the list goes on. I live with my mom, dad, and 2 cats. I'm pretty shy, I'm insecure about myself, I love animals, and many other things, but you want me to get on with the story, right?!

Ok, so it all started on a normal Saturday morning. I woke up at about 10:00, like every other normal Saturday morning, except this one I was much more exited. My birthday is in January, but in January I didn't know what I wanted, so my parents told me they'd give me my present when I decided what I wanted. By this point I had narrowed it down to an iPad or a laptop. I honestly couldn't wait to see what I got.

I walked out of my room, then slowly walk into the dining room. On top of the dining room table, there was a smallish, flattish, box covered in green and blue patterned wrapping paper. It's probably an I pad. I said in my head.

Just then, my mom notices that I'm up. She greets me, then my dad walks in and greets me as well.

"Good morning!" They both say, and lead me to my present.

"I hope you like it!" My mom says. I slowly pull the thin wrapping paper open, and then a brown, cardboard box is revealed.

"Open it!" My dad shouts.

I unfold the box, and inside is a Manila envelope. It doesn't say anything on it.

"How is this an iPad or a laptop?" I ask.

"Just open it." Says my mom.

I slowly open it, and pull out a piece of thick, white, paper. It reads:

Dear Kayla,

Congratulations! You are invited to be a VIP at a "Disney Channel's JESSIE" live taping! You and three guests will experience the Live show, a meet and greet with the cast, and a tour of the set! We can't wait to see you there!

My jaw drops open. I look at both my parents, and then they smile at me.

"Wha- how- whe- why-" I can't even get a word out.

"Is this for real?"

"Yep!" My mom exclaims.

All of a sudden I start screaming,

"OH MY GOD OH MY GOD OH MY GOD OH MY GOD OH MY GOD IM GOING TO A JESSIE LIVE TAPING!!!!!!!!!!!" And start crazily running around my house. Every part of my body is literally shaking.

"Are you kidding me? This isn't real is it?" I ask my parents because I still can't believe this is actually happening.

"No it's not real." My dad says sarcastically.

Im not sure whether to believe him or not.

I look at both of them and then my mom admits, "It's real."

After she says that I start going crazy again, hug them both and thank them a million times, and then run around the house again. I seriously am completely shocked. I was NOT expecting this. And this, by far, was the best birthday present I ever EVER received.
