The sun seeps through the tree branches. Waking the birds. Casting out the owls. Silencing the crickets. Brings zebras to water. Butterfly's to roam. I see this in my dreams. Me waking up. Feeling the breeze. Seeing. Hearing. Sitting up only to look in the eyes of pure beauty. That becomes sudden death. Sending my heart a million miles. In bed. I lay and wonder. Wonder what was to happen today. Wonder if tomorrow is ever coming. They all say, tomorrow. But what they don't realize. Tomorrow...never arrived. So we all just sit, in arrogance. Thinking that there is nothing wrong. Nothing bad could ever happen. Even I thought that. I had been one of those people. I had thought especially, I could not be faced with death. But, not all stories have happy endings. Not all stories lead you to such belief, that your safe. Because deep in our minds, beyond the troubling thoughts, we know. Nowhere is safe. Now if you dare continue. Dare reach pain. Dare become, what Lavender has become, than turn the page. Move you finger. Continue.
