Derek wants to protect you. Always. Even when you're cuddling. You feel his strong muscular arms around you and you do feel protected. Your head rests on his chest and you listen to his heartbeat. His arms are warm around you so you don't need a blanket. When you're restless he puts your head on his chest so you can calm down by listening to his heartbeat. Sometimes he squeezes you out of nowhere and you start to laugh.
