Tris POV
I wake up in a hospital bed. I ache all over. Where is Tobias? I see a nurse pass my room and I want to know what is going on. The last thing I remember was getting shot by David. Just thinking of his name makes my mouth sour. " Excuse me. " I shout but nothing comes out but a couple of squeaks. She looks over and her eyes look like they will pop out of her head. " Oh! Miss Prior! You're awake! " She says with joy and excitement.
She comes in and asks how I fell and tell her I feel very sore. " Can you get Four in here please? " I ask her. " Sure, be right back. " she says walking out the door. While she is gone I play with my wristbands and begin to read them. " Coma patient. 7- 18 - 15 " Well, what time is it now? I think. I look at the clock that also has the date 8-3-15. Well, I least I haven't been out for that long. Then, I hear footsteps getting louder, I will finally get to see him again! It felt like forever!
Tobias POV
It was about a month and a half ago when Tris was hospitalized and I only left the hospital to eat, shower, and sleep. Most of the time I am sitting in the hospital lobby. The nurse comes in and tells me the most shocking news ever. " Four, Tris just woke up from her coma. You can come see her now. " she says with joy. Without thinking I jump up from my chair and sprint to room C64, the room that she is in.
I walk in and I see her beautiful face light up with joy. I look at her beautiful blue-gray eyes and sit on the chair next to her bed. " Four. " she croaks. " It's okay baby I'm right here, I always will be. " I tell her.
