A Strange Kind of Love Chapter 5-One Heck of a Battle!

The next morning Kagome woke up happy as ever but her mood would soon change from happy to surprised and embarrassed. Kagome did her normal routine- wash up, making breakfast, helping in the village, training with her weapons and powers, and making dinner. What she didn't expect is when she went to the hot springs this time Sango and Kirara came with her. At first it was a nice change but now it was something she regretted ever letting in. Sango said," So Kagome have you found anyone that won your heart yet?" Kagome replied," Not really but I will soon." Then Sango said," Hey what about Sesshomaru he's cool huh?" Kagome replied," Yea sure. Hey Sango what are you trying to get into?" Then Sango replied slyly," Nothing. Nothing at all I'm just just asking if you found anybody yet." Of course Kagome knew her sister enough to know that she was lying. She said," Really? Come on now Sango I know you're lying just tell me what it is." Sango said," Fine." With a smirk on her face she said," I know that you and Sesshomaru are together you lovebirds!" All Kagome could do is go pale and shout," WHAT HOW'D YOU KNOW THAT!!??" With a laugh Sango said," Kirara showed me but don't worry I'm not mad and I won't tell anybody. I love you too much to do that." Kagome then began to get color back on her face and exclaimed," Oh thank you Sango I love you too! Hey how about we get out of here and get Sesshomaru and tell the others besides Inuyasha and his foolish pot. I want to see the reaction on Inuyasha's and the pots face when the news comes out." Sango smiled and exclaimed," You got it!" So they climbed out, dried, clothed, and went to get Sesshomaru to tell the others the exciting news.

Once the girls got to the place Sesshomaru was at Kagome said," Sango I need you to stay here I'll be right back." With Sango's nod of understanding Kagome walked through the trees and finally got to the spot and yelled," Sesshomaru come out love there's things I need to tell you!" Then with his demonic speed came Sesshomaru. He replied," Hello love what troubles you or concerns you this Sesshomaru would like to know." Kagome walked up to him and gave him a hug and said," There's no worries love it's just that my friend Sango found out about us and I think I'm ready to tell the others. Will you please come with me and Sango back to the village and please love don't hurt anybody." Sesshomaru kissed her forehead and said," Yes love I will do this for you." With that they all left toward the village.

When they reached the hut and the news came out Miroku and Shippo were stunned but then recovered. Miroku said," Congratulations Lady Kagome I wish you both well." Then came Shippo up to his mother and jumped into her arms and asked," Is Sesshomaru my daddy?" Kagome looked at Sesshomaru and with a nod of his head Kagome said," Yes Shippo he's your daddy." Shippo cheered," Yay! I have a daddy now." Then he asked," Do I have any siblings?" Kagome smiled and petted his hair and said," Yes you do her name is Rin." Shippo hollered," Yay I have a sister too now!" Kagome laughed and smiled and said," Settle down Shippo now go play with Kirara." Shippo jumped down and ran to Kirara where they played with some toys and then ran outside to play in the meadow. "Be careful Shippo!" Kagome hollered. He yelled back," Yes mama!"

Kagome then went outside the hut to watch her little one play in the meadow. Once there she went on the hill to sit down. She then felt arms go around her waist then she turned to see something she didn't want. There was Inuyasha holding her waist with a smile on his face. Kagome then flared her powers and got away from him as quick as possible. She ran to Shippo and said," Shippo get away from here now. Go to the village and get your father tell him to meet me in the forest it's time for my revenge." Shippo nodded his head and got onto Kirara which carried him in the sky toward the village. Kagome ran as fast as she could toward the forest. Inuyasha used his demon speed to catch up to her but she was really fast. And she's only a human!

Kagome finally made it into the forest and screamed with menace," Where's your clay pot?! I thought she was good to you?! Is she actually a clay pot now ?! Is she mush!?" This made Inuyasha pissed. Nobody made fun of his mate. He ran up to Kagome and slapped her. Hard. Kagome was now seriously pissed. Kagome took her bows and arrows and shot at him and pinned him to a tree with just four arrows. Just as she was about to get her twin katanas out Kikyo came in and shot arrows at Kagome but missed horribly. Before Kikyo could move Kagome shot four arrows and also pinned her to a tree far away from Inuyasha. Kikyo screamed and struggled to get loose from the arrows that bound her but failed. Kagome got her twin katanas out ready to torture the two.

Meanwhile Shippo and Kirara finally made it to the village. Once they landed Shippo jumped off and sprinted to his new father to tell him the important news. Once in the hut Shippo landed on to his father and said," Daddy! You have to hurry! Mamas fighting in the forest and she said to meet her there! She's fighting Inuyasha and mama needs you! Please daddy hurry!" Sesshomaru then calmed his child down and left him in the care of Sango and Miroku. He then used his demon speed to get to the forest. Once there he sealed his aura and scent so he couldn't be sensed. He jumped into the trees and scented Kagome down. Once there he smirked and watched as his love was just about to start torturing his stupid, foolish half brother and his stupid clay pot who was sobbing.

Meanwhile Kagome had her katanas in hand. She was about to let Inuyasha free from his arrows when a spear came flying right past her face and landed a little ways from her person. Kagome's grip on her katanas tightened as she scanned the trees. She didn't see anything so she expanded her miko powers and found what she was looking for. She then turned toward the aura she felt and called coldly," Come out you fool! If you are so confident to throw a spear at me then show yourself!" Out came a demon. From the looks of him he was a full dragon demon. He had long straight black hair that was braided all the way down to his butt. His eyes were silver with faint hints of light blue in them. He looked at Kagome with a fanged smirk on his face. Kagome examined the demon's aura a little more and found that he wasn't powerful so he had to be at least a middle classed demon. Kagome coldly asked," What is your name demon?" The demon chuckled and continued to smirk before he said," My name is Goku Natsu." Kagome then asked still on edge," What is your purpose for interrupting my personal business?" Goku then chuckled and smirked a little more then said," What is my purpose? Well Lady Kagome my purpose is to destroy you of course." Kagome's eyes glared at the demon before her ready to fight him if he tried anything on her. She snarled," Under whose command did you get this order from?" Goku then fully smiled a cruel killer smile and said," Naraku of course. As I can see you have some bad history with the hanyou. He told me that if I destroyed you I would get more power than I already have. And besides I don't really like you anyway. Just another human to kill in my eyes. Except you Lady Kagome may be a little more of a challenge because your a miko." He then stuck out his hand in her direction. The spear that was a little ways from Kagome came out of the ground and flew to Goku's hand. Goku then got into battle stance and pointed the spear at Kagome. He said," Well then Lady Kagome do you accept my challenge?" Kagome pissed beyond belief got in her battle stance and snarled," Challenge accepted."
