The cold wind spread snow across my windburned face. Thankfully, my long auburn hair has been keeping my ears warm, I hate cold ears. The tips of my fingers are numb. Thankfully I am wearing my fingerless gloves. They're they kind of achy-numb, like if you poke your leg for five minutes.

I wonder what Chris is doing right now, I turned around and headed back to the cabin. The crunching snow almost calmed me, but I couldn't help reminding myself that there is still a psychopath on the loose, waiting for us to come to him like little mice. I began to run to the cabin. As I was running, it felt like someone was watching, following. I would like to believe that it is just Chris and Josh clowning around, but I don't believe that. I could feel my heart beginning to race. It felt like my heart had a knife and it was trying to cut its way out with each pound. I frantically opened the door,

"Aaaaahck!!!" I screamed, as Chris jumps out at me.

"Wow, you really are afraid of everything, aren't you?" He chuckles. I could hear Josh's distinct laugh. But I was too upset to care.

"CHRIS, THATS NOT FUNNY!!!" I yell. My face, goes bright red, I can feel it, and Chris is looking me in the eye... and there is a maniac on the loose, And people are dying, probably; and we haven't heard from Mike or Jessica, and, and... That was my breaking point. I just couldn't help myself, I ended up just covering my face with my hands and cold, scared tears. I guess I thought that if I can't see him, he can't see me. But then I could feel something warm, an arm, wrap around me, holding me tight. I look up and wipe my eyes with the back of my fingerless gloves to see a pair of square glasses and gentle blue eyes and soft blond hair, it's Chris, next to me with one arm, holding me. Cradling me. I felt safe. Everything around me left from existence. I put my forehead head down on the front of his shoulder. He turns me around and with his big hands, wipes away my tears. His hands were big and strong, but kind and gentle, like what I imagine a guardian angel's hand to be like. That's when he spoke the words,

"I'm sorry." he let out a half smile as he adjusted his glasses, and fixed my frazzled hair with his warm, loving hands. When I pull my head away,  I find myself in the awkward position of being about an inch away from his face. I noticed his beautiful strong jawline. I felt a sharp pain as I realize I had bitten hard into my lip. We both stare into each other's eyes as *someone* starts clapping.

We both quickly snap away from each other, letting go of his hand I wasn't aware I was still holding.

"Isn't this the part in the movie where you two kiss?" Josh chuckles. Of course it's Josh, who else would it be?

"F**k off Josh," Chris mutters. I did sorta want to kiss him, but I bet he doesn't like me. "I will be right back you guys. Hold on," he says. He was wearing a very mischievous grin, I wonder what he is doing.

"Don't be gone long." i Answer, smiling back at him as he walks off into the dark depths of the cabin.

"Hey guys check it out, a Ouija board!" It's Chris, He's back! I was starting to really miss him.

"Where did you find that?" I ask. How far did he search to find that, and how did he know there was one here?

"Who cares, let's get this bad boy open!" I could tell Josh was VERY bored. Ouija boards are really creepy, at least they were when I was younger.

"Come on Ash!" Chris hollers back at me.

"I'll go get some candles!" Josh exclaims. I follow after Chris. He sets the box down on an old, three legged table. He takes his arm and swipes it across the table, knocking all the old dusty stuff off of it.

"Eeeeek!!" I shriek. A big black spider crawls across the table... Oh wait, it's just a small house spider...
"It's just a spider," Chris teases.
