that morning Sherlock rushed out of his apartment, 221 B Baker Street, to get to a case. Anderson had beaten him there. Sherlock could feel people whispering about him. he didn't care. he just wanted to work on the case.

i woke up to my phone ringing.

--good morning love. there's a case just outside of Brixton. meet us at the tape for clearance.
btw the "freak" just arrived.
see you soon.
Anderson--

I got ready in my usual work clothes. black trousers and a dark shirt. just before leaving I checked my phone. two messages:

1) Anderson's mum
--hi love. heard you had a case today.
best of luck dear
mum--

2) Anderson again
--hey sweets text me when you leave. I put a cuppa on when I left so you could have some. again remember to get full clearance before you enter.
much love
Anderson--

I shot back
--leaving now. remember to call your mum at some point this week. and don't call Sherlock the freak. it's rather rude dear.
see you
Judith--

I grabbed my jumper, keys, and my wallet as I ran out the door.

I jumped into my car and my phone rang.

"Cronin. what do you need?
"hey it's Anderson."
"yes hon. I've got caller identification."
"are you almost there."
"no. I was about to start my car but you called"
"well hurry up. the Fre...I...I mean Sherlock is trying to run the group. and you're the only one he kind of listens to."
"oi! watch it! I gotta go. see you."

I hung up before he could respond. we all know Sherlock doesn't listen to anyone. obviously Anderson was joking. I rushed over to get to the case. I wish I had more information. but Anderson never told me anything about cases. it was always assumed I knew what was going on.
