Chapter 13

Rachel's P.O.V

"Well well well, who do we have here?" Mitch said grinning. "Look, we dont want to cause any problems." Jason said gritting his teeth. "Yeah, we want to keep it clean." I said nervously. "Oh you already caused it." Mitch said taking out his sword. "Oh, it's because of Lilac isn't it? Just forget about that already!" I exclaimed. Oh me and my stupid mouth, what have I done! Mitch turned to me and walked towards me, glaring. "Don't worry biggums, I've got this." Jerome said getting in front of Mitch. Mitch nodded, and took his focus onto Jason. I saw Jerome take out his golden axe, that glimmered in the sunlight. "Y-you're not going to REALLY kill me, o-or are you?" I stuttered nervously. "I'm sorry." I heard Jerome mutter, which made my eyes go wide.

Before Jerome got a chance to touch me, I turned around and ran for my life, going through vines and branches that were in my way. I felt Jerome axe go past me, scratching my shoulder and hitting a tree. I turned a different way and slipped on some mud, and landed on my pinky and scratched my knee. (This happened to me in real life, but I didn't go to the doctor xD) I winced in pain when I got up, and when I looked back, I saw Jerome running at me. I ran away as fast as I could, then I saw a big tree, and I began climbing it, my pinky throbbing in pain and my knee beginning to burn. I went from tree to tree, as if I were born to do this, then I looked around me, and I saw no one, which meant Jerome was tired of chasing me. I looked at the screen, and saw Jason being chased by Mitch. I then heard two familiar voices below me. "That was tiring." I heard a female voice say. "Agreed." I heard a male voice say, then I remembered. It was Lilac's and Jett's.

Lilac's P.O.V

"That was tiring." I said looking above me, I couldn't see the screen, but by the sound of it, there was a fight going on. "Agreed." I heard Jett say cracking his knuckles. Then I heard rustling above us. "Who's there?" I said taking out my bow. "It's me!" I heard Rachel say. I saw her come down, and she looked awful. Her hair was tangled, and she had a bleeding knee, and her pinky looked broken. "What happened?" I asked. "I-it's Mitch, we bumped into him." I heard her struggle to say. My eyes widened, then I asked, "where are they?" She pointed the way we were heading. Without hesitation, I began running towards the direction she pointed at.
I heard two male voices getting closer, and I knew it was Mitch's and Jason's.

I then saw them, and I hid behind a bush. I saw Mitch trying to stab Jason in the neck, but Jason was pushing Mitch's arm away, struggling. I couldn't help it, this looked awful! Before I could even control myself, I took out my bow and shot Mitch's arm. I heard him grunt in pain, and he turned around. My eyes were wide in horror, mad at myself, but I couldn't let Jason die. "L-lilac?" I heard Mitch stutter. I shook my head furiously and ran away, where I saw Jett coming up to me with Rachel behind him. "We have to go, NOW." I said my eyes brimming with tears. "What happened?" Jett asked. "Rachel, go with Jason." I said looking down at her. She nodded and ran over to Jason and helped him up. "We have to go, GO." I said pushing Jett and making him run. I heard footsteps behind me, which were Jett's, but there were others, I turned around, and saw Leah throw her small knife at Jett's back. I stopped and took my bow out, shooting her in the neck. She fell down to the floor, and the screen lit up LEAH QUEEN: DEAD. I walked over to Jett, who was taking out the bandages. "Here, let me help." I said wrapping the bandage around his waist. "Thanks." I heard him say.

Mitch's P.O.V

I couldn't believe it, Lilac shot at me, and in my arm. I pulled the arrow out, and looked at my bleeding wound. "You ok there biggums?" I heard Jerome say from behind me. "Of course I'm not....did you get the girl?" I asked. "No, I lost her when she began climbing trees." Jerome answered looking down. "Hmph." I remarked, heading toward a small river and pouring water onto my bleeding arm. I don't know how to look at Lilac now. I don't know, but I will say this. If I bump into her, I'm going to kill her, I don't even care if she doesn't do the same to me, but I will get the honor to do so.
