POV Beth

It was Dave's last day before he had to go back to work so we decided to go to the beach just to go and relax around midnight and pray we wouldn't get caught so we got everything ready and walked to the boardwalk and onto the beach we laid the towel down and sat there for a little bit and we started eating a snack and talking and I through a strawberry at him

"What was that for ."

"For leaving me tomorrow ."

"I'll be back as soon as possible ."

And he leaned in

"I know ."

And I grabbed his shirt and pulled him in closer and slowly got closer to his lips before kissing him and I felt the smile on his lips and I pulled away with a smile and let go of his shirt and fixed it

"I'll be back ."

I said as I got up from the blanket

"Ok but hurry back ."

And I nodded and started walking towards the boardwalk half way up the stairs some one grabbed my arm and I looked over fast , Jeremy.

"How could you scare me like that , leaving me I thought you were gone ,I loved you."

He said with his breathe smelling like alcohol with puffy red eyes

"I'm sorry don't hurt me ."

I said pulling my arm away and he got on his knees

And I bent down

"I'm not I want you back ."

"I'm not coming back ."

And he looked at me with anger

"If you don't come with me he will die and you will to ."

And I got up and backed away as he stood up

"No you won't ."

And he started to charge towards Dave and I got in front of him halfway to Dave . I looked at Dave who didn't know what was going on behind him. He pulled a gun out

"Hey ,look at me."

I said putting my hand on his face

"Take me home ."

I said taking his gun from his hand and dropping it in the sand

"Take me home now ,ok."

And he nodded and grabbed his hand we started walking towards the board walk as every other light on the boardwalk turned off , his grip started to get harder and harder

"Your hurting me stop!"

I said but it got worse

I let go of the grip an he tried to punch me but I moved fast and he missed I started running towards the gun and screamed for help and I saw Dave turn his head quick as I got the gun and grabbed it , as I grabbed it his body landed on me as he tried to turn me over to get the gun as.he turned me over we had the gun in our hands his hand over mine on the trigger going back and forth to our heads I put all my strength that I had and pulled the trigger .

POV Dave

I heard a scream as the lights went off on the boardwalk I looked over fast to see Beth running towards me and Jeremy behind her I got out my phone out and called 911 and told the guy what was going and and he said he would have people over as soon as possible and hung up I saw Beth fall and Jeremy jump over her and turning her do they were face to face and heard a bang my heart dropped and I ran over to see Jeremy's body being slid by her side and She stood and had blood all over her with the gun in her hand I ran up to her and unwrapped her fingers from the gun and through it to the ground as she stood there in shock I looked at her to try to get her to talk I put my hand on the side of her face with my other hand on her waist and she fell to her knees

"It's over he's gone look at me ."

As said as we were on the ground

And she looked at me with a blank expression ad I hugged her

"I love you, I love you ."

I said and she slowly started to wrap her arms around my neck and start to cry

"I -I love you too "

And I looked at her and kissed her and we waited for the police .....

As I finished talking to the police officer I saw the body bag go into the ambulance and in another I saw Beth sitting with a blanket wrapped around her and I walked up to her as she faintly smiled

"Are you ok ."

"I don't know I killed him."

"Exactly he's gone you don't have to worry ,no more bad dreams."

"How did you-"

"I heard you most nights in your sleep."

"I'm sorry ."

"Don't be you didn't know what to do."

And she nodded looking down and back up smiling

"What."

I said to her smiling

"You said it."

And I smiled

"I said what ?"

"That you loved me ."

"Yeah well you said it to."

I said at she hopped off the edge of the ambulance getting closer to me.

"You said it first ."

She said smiling biting her lip

"Yeah."

"Say it again ."

And we laughed

"I...love...you."

And she smiled and kissed me

"We did it ."

She said hugging me

"No you did it ."

And I just hugged her.

POV Beth

After Dave came back from work we finally decided to move in a bigger house and not a condo . A year later he proposed and we got married 6 months later and his career got bigger and he became more famous . We visited his parents house at least 10 times a year and I just found out I am pregnant and Dave cried when u told him he was so happy . So that's my life so far and loving every second .
