Cindy's POV

I searched around the kitchen counter trying to find any leads on what might have happened to Eleonora. The award winning song writer went missing a couple of days ago and since then there has been no leads or back story of what happened to the girl.

My name is Cindy White I've recently graduated from Stanford University with a degree in law. I haven't been lucky in the job department though that is why I am helping my uncle in his new case so I can gain some work experience for my resume but who would have thought I would be able to investigate the apartment of the oh so legendary Eleonora Sinclair.

"Shit, there's nothing here" I heard him curse in the living room. We have been on this case for 3 days and there isn't any evidence anywhere so he must be frustrated by now.

"Don't worry we will find something soon" I patted his shoulders and headed for her room. When I got to it all I saw was white walls and a wooden floor. Wow she took everything  I wonder why.

On the night Eleonora went missing there was a HUGE commotion. Reporters say  she left her apartment at around 6 am in the morning with nothing but a luggage cart. She was followed by photographers during her drive but they lost sight of her after a couple of hours. Some say she might have gotten kidnapped others think she went suicidal  but there has been no evidence to justify any of those stories. The rudest things I've seen about her disappearance was from random people online saying  that she's faking her disappearance for  attention.

I wasn't a very big fan of the artists she wrote songs for but her lyrics were the things that made me turn up those songs louder. She had such a vision , a vision that anyone could relate to. Lost, love, insecurities, struggles and most of all finding yourself. That is why she got recognized very quickly producers saw the she had a gift and they used it to brainwash people into buying their music.

"Found anything?" My uncle had an annoyed face  as he came into the room. What did he expect from me? I just graduated I don't know how the this whole investigating thing works.

"Nope as you can see there is nothing in sight" I stated the obvious but he still was angry.

"That's what you've been saying for the past 3 days" He reminded me.

"That's because I've been seeing nothing for the past 3 days" He groaned like a little child him and my dad are the same they blame others for their problems . "Well sorry for not being niece of the year" He left the apartment leaving me to carry his suitcase for him. I have it with this case I'll just go work at McDonalds or something I can't deal with my uncle anymore.

I didn't notice it but after I stomped my foot that there was a USB lying on the floor. Strange did my uncle leave it there? I picked up it only to find out that it wasn't my uncle's. There was strip of masking tape on the USB a name was written on it with black ink.  I started doing my happy dance thinking that I finally can show him that I am not worthless. Unfortunately lady luck was not on my side because I realised that the person whose name was on the USB wasn't Eleonora but some girl named Laura.
