Melissa POV

Chapter 66:

The next day was quiet , did I regret what I said .. Kind of but she was also wrong , who picks there mate over there family .
I sighed looking at Vikki sleeping peacefully .
I smiled and cuddled against her .
She wrapped her arms around me and smiled as she fell back to sleep .

Today was going to be a normal and calm day, but that can change with the snap of a finger . So I didn't get my hopes up.
Sara was now caring for her baby boy with Kyle .
Amy and Alec went on a vacation with there baby.

So everyone was happy since everything died down and no threats were made .
Fred and Donny trained the pups while searching for there mates .

Vincent and Mikey were best friends and got over the problems they had and we're going to start training the pups too.
Jason and Lark were helping Vikki but also showed there mates some attention.

Lana and Vikki.. Well they distant them selves from everyone including me. Which I didn't mind , I was still upset about everything .
With her parents still trying to find us , we were still on high alert but went on with our lives.

I turned on the tv but stopped when I was hungry . I groaned and poked Vikki.
She looked at me with one eye .

"Baby. Hungry. Food." I said .

She groaned and got off me as I got up and went down the stairs .
I stopped when Vanessa stood there eating cereal. Ugh..

I quietly when and got out a bowl pouring cereal into it .

"So now we're not gonna talk" she said .

"There is nothing to talk about ."

"There is allot to talk -

"Well I don't wanna talk . So drop it ." I said pouring milk in my cereal .

"Your acting childish. " she said .

I dropped my bowl. Anger filled me as I let out a huge growl.
"Childish? CHILDISH!" I yelled getting in her face .

She didn't move as she growled back at me .

"Childish is being weak. Like your self ."

"Your one to talk, pregnant and helpless."

I growled grabbing her neck as she winced growling .

"Woah woah!" Jason yelled grabbing my arm. I growled more .

"Your wrong . Being childish is picking her over me.. Letting me get hurt .. Being weak is letting other's you care about get hurt infront of your face and you sit there and watch."

"Melissa. Let her go." Vikki said.
I looked at the audience who looked terrified .
I let go and backed away.
Vanessa glared at me .

"You Vanessa are weak." I said as I walked out the kitchen .

"Thought you were hungry!" Vikki yelled to me .

"No anymore " I said as I walked up and back into my room.
I looked at my hands upset that I even put my hands on her .. That's not motherly at all.
I sighed and laid back.

My snapped up to the smell of food .
Vincent smiled and walked over with eggs.
My hero.

"Here." He handed it to me as I took it .

"T-Thanks." I said bitting into my food. I mentally moaned .

He smiled and sat down on the bed .

I watched him as he was playing with his hands .

"What ." I finally asked .

"Nothing . It's just .." He sighed .
"Me and Mikey wanna know when we can go back to regular school, I wanna join the football team and maybe get a girl-

"Soon." I said .

He looked at shocked .
"So it's true , Were allowed to go to human school."

I laughed .
"You know your human too, just have werewolve traits ."

He nodded .

"Vikki said that its for the best you learn 'human' ways" I laughed airing the human .

He laughed too.
"It will be fun."

"Just don't get anyone pregnant ." I snapped my finger at him.

He held his hands up and laughed.
My brother walked into the room with a bag. I sniffed and smiled bit .

"You do love me ." I said .

He rolled his eyes and set it down, I have been craving wings and cheese fries! This baby is making me fat !

"Me and Michael are going to go look around in town . Be back later ."

"Since when are you and Michael close,"

"Since we need his mother ." He said .

Ah.. I forgot all about that . We think his mother and Vikki's mother is betraying us, giving information about the baby and the pack to the Rouge's and Vampires . We haven't seen her in age's since her husband died .
She would write letters telling us she is well.  But once we said we needed to see her . The letters stopped coming .

No one jumped to conclusions about anything . We kept an open mind about what is happening or what is going to happen .

My father has been living among the humans since my mother died . He comes and see's Vincent and Vanessa as much as he can.

I understand and respect his choice . It's hard for him to be around since he can't even look me in the eyes.. I killed his one true love, and I can't nearly say I have no clue what that feels like and I don't want to find out .

"I'm gonna go train." He said getting up.
"Smile or you'll get wrinkles ."

I glared at him.
"Okay smart ass."

He laughed and walked away as Jason came in running .
"Someone is here for you."

"Who?" I got up and followed him down the stairs .
Wolves gathered in a area and Vikki stood there without saying anything .

"Vikki." I said grabbing her arm as she tensed at my touch.

"Melissa." A male voice said .

I raised and eyebrow as the wolves moved so I could get a good look at him.
A male I have never seen before was holding something .
I moved closer.

I screamed and ran to him..
"Dad!!"
