~ Chapter 1 ~
Imagine, your watching the world like a movie. You can see time go by in front of you. You can hear the voices of everything but you're unable to change the things that go on. You don't have a role to play so you are nothing. You can't change the ending, you can't have things your way. That, is my life.
I watched helplessly as the scene played out before me. The blue flames illuminated Yukio's features as they began to change. His teeth sharpened, his ears lengthened, and his eyes blurred. The cruel voice began to seep through his teeth. The surrounding exorcists pulled out their weapons but their attacks were futile. Shura pulled out her sword and began to advance. As she neared him the possed body of Yukio aimed the blue flames towards her. She skillfully dodged each attack. But in the end he was too strong His sharpened nails pierced through her chest. Shura's body fell limp by his feet. His blood soaked hand reached down and slipped a gun out from his weapons belt. "YUKIO, what are you doing!!!" Rin's Voice echoed throughout the area as he charged towards Yukio arm pulled back. He launched his arm forward attempting to punch him but Yukio quickly spun around and smacked him across the face with the back of his hand. Rin and Yukio quickly engaged in battle.
After only minutes Rin was kneeling on the ground, his face bruised and his nose began to bleed. "Yukio, open you eyes!" Rin's voice reached deep into Yukio's soul and his expression turned helpless. He reached towards Rin, as he mouthed the words 'help me.' Rin quickly ran to his aid and grasped onto his out stretched hand. Yukio's other hand began to aim the gun at Rin unnoticed. Unnoticed, by everyone but me. "Rin, Yukio has a gun! Look out!" I yelled to them over and over again, but my words couldn't reach their ears. I heard the click over the gun as it was fired. Blood began to seep through Rin's shirt as he crumpled onto the ground. Fear crossed over Yukio's face as realization of what had just happened hit him. The gun began to point at Rin once again and even with Yukio's helpless attempts to stop it, it was inevitable. The click of the gun firering was heard and Rin's unmoving body lay on the pavement as blood began to seep from his chest. Yukio gazed at his brother before looking to the gun he held in his hand. The hand he could control stole the gun from his other hand and a look of determination crossed his face. He held the gun to his head and even with the demon's desperate shouts the trigger was pulled and Yukio's body fell to the side. Blood oozing from the injury in his head. "Rin, Yuki-Chan!!!" Sheimi shouted as she ran towards them. She checked for a pulse on both of them with no success. Tears began to leak down her cheeks as the others ran towards them.
Tears began to run down my face as I ran towards Rin. I went to check his wound but as always my hand slid though and as my tears dripped onto to his chest they disappeared as though they were they were never there. I stood back up and watched as sadness struck everyone right down to Bon. The demons continued to leak into assiha and the exorcists had begun to thin out as their corpses littered the ground. I rested my hand on my forehead as I thought about what I could do. Was there anything I could do? I opened my eyes before I pierced my finger with my tooth. I lifted my shirt slightly before drawing a star like symbol on my stomach. I took a deep breath before closing my eyes and letting the darkness consume me.
This was the first time I'd ever done it, to use my power as a demon to travel back in time.
