It was Saturday and I was hanging out with my two best friends; Angel and Jesse. We were stopped at the McDonald's and I was guzzling pancakes. I look towards my right which has the ordering counter and bathrooms in case the pancakes knew how to fight. All of a sudden I see this kid. I know what your thinking so what? But there was something about him. He was the total opposite of me with my teal hair and bright purple shirt. He was dressed all in black. All of a sudden it hit. "Jesse, Jesse, Jesse!" I screamed, poking my friend. "What?" She said looking up from her phone. "See that guy? I think he's Nico di Angelo!" I know, I know, you think I'm insane. That might, possibly, definitely, be true. But I knew I was right. I dragged Jesse and Angel by the wrist's to the boy. "Hi, are you Nico di Angelo?" "Please excuse her we think she's insane." Angel jumped in front of me cutting me off from the kid. " No, She's right." Said, apparently, Nico. "You guys read about me in a book right?" "Yeah!" I said breaking from behind my shocked friends. "So your part of the program." He whispered. "Well, I'm here for Angel Quinn. I got to take her to camp." After this I'm surprised no one passed out. Was it true? Was the fictional home real? Jesse was the first to recover. "Are we demigods?" "Yeah! Of course. I just shadow traveled and got here quicker your rides are coming." At this point me and Jesse almost broke glass with our excited screams! We were half-bloods! Demigods! "Well, we should get going." Nico and Angel linked arms and disappeared.

Once getting a hold of our selves and exiting McDonald's me and Jesse went to the park. We strolled around fantasizing about camp when a screech was heard around the corner. The only car on the street was a red corvette. Inside was none other than Mitchell Mitchell. He pulled up and looked at us. "Are one of you Jesse McLean?" He asked. I nudged Jesse. She had a huge crush on him in the books. "I-I am." She said finally deciding to have confidence on the last word. "Hop in." He said. she got in shot gun doing a fist pump as they drove off. That is how I was stranded but excited, waiting for a ride from who knows who to Camp Half-Blood.
