We just laid there staring at the ceiling, not saying a word. Cole had asked me if he could stay for a while after everything and I didn't care. The longer he stayed the more I felt like I got back at my mom.

"I don't want to go home." Cole's voice seemed sad.

"Why not?" Was he really going to open up to me? I turned to him and laid on my side.

"No reason." So he wasn't going to open up to me. Fine, whatever! He turned on his side and our eyes met.

"Let's do this again tomorrow night." I couldn't believe my words. Was I becoming a booty call?

"Yeah, ok." He was distracted. I wanted to ask him about it but my phone buzzed.

"Hey, sorry, I couldn't text earlier so was it bad?" It was Charlotte. I had completely forgotten I texted her. I laid it back down and looked back into his eyes.

I liked this, no touching, no words, just this. It seemed like we were communicating, but maybe that was just me.

"Who was that?" His words pulled me away from his eyes and to his lips.

"Charlotte" I said absentmindedly as I continued to stare at his lips.

"You know, you could kiss me?" I looked at him questioningly, "Oh, come on, you're staring pretty intensely at my lips." I shrugged and leaned forward, kissing him.

There was something different about this kiss. It wasn't purely sexual. There was more behind it. Was that my fault?

"I like you." He said as I pulled away.

"You have a girlfriend." I still had no idea how my morals allowed this. Did I just not have morals?

"I don't want you to be my girlfriend. I want you to be my fuck buddy." I don't know why but my heart dropped. Did I really expect more?

"Ok, but you have to go my mom will be home soon." he nodded and walked out without another word. I laid there staring at the ceiling, my room suddenly felt empty. My mom wouldn't be home for hours, I just wanted him gone. I went on facebook on my phone to distract myself.

I had a friend request from Logan, that guy who was with Ian. I accepted and he sent me a message.

"Hey, sorry about my friend, he can be a real asshole sometimes." Huh? Maybe this guy isn't so bad.

"It's cool, not your fault." I smiled at my phone, this was the perfect distraction.

"Glad you feel that way, so how was your day?" Something seemed kind of off about the way he talked, but I liked it.

"Good, how about yours?"

"Mine was good as well." See, who talks like that? I enjoyed it though and we ended up talking about our lives, our hobbies, things we like, and our friends and family until 6:30 a.m. We had started talking around 10:00 and I had never talked so long with anyone.

"Shit! I'm afraid we have to get ready for school." I glanced at the clock, oh he was right!

"Oh, wow! See you at school in half an hour." I quickly got dressed in a tight black Black Veil Brides shirt, skinny jeans, and sneakers. I put on a little bit of make-up, telling myself I was doing it for Logan and not Cole.

I looked outside for my mom's car, not there, so i checked my phone, no texts. She was probably to drunk to tell me that she was staying at her boyfriends. It wouldn't be the first time so I shrugged it off and headed out the door.

"Sorry, fell asleep early last night." I texted Charlotte while I walked.

"It's cool, I'm on the bus now so was it bad?" I had forgotten about Kayla coming over. That seemed like forever ago.

"No, she's actually really nice. You should give her a chance." I didn't really care if they were friends, no matter what I had a feeling Charlotte would always come first.

"No, thanks. She's too boy obsessed for my tastes. Getting off the bus, see you when you get here" I chuckled at that. The first day I met Charlotte (which I guess was two days ago) all we had talked about was boys.

I put my phone away and continued my walk to school. I felt like I was on top of the world and I didn't know why.
