I was woken in the morning by Gerard lightly rubbing my arm up and down, because I was laying my head on his chest, and the rest of me was just snuggled as close as I could get to his side. "Time to wake up, gorgeous," he whispered.

"No. It's fucking early," I whined, and I shook my head, snuggling even tighter against his chest.

"Sweetie, it's eleven. Go get your ass ready. We have shopping to do before dinner, and you'll probably take forever to shop. We can't be late to our reservations."

"I don't wanna."

"As much as I love how you're cuddling me right now, I will knock you off the bed if you don't get up," he joked.

"You wouldn't dare!"

"Yes I would."

To prove his point, he started to scoot towards the side of the bed, which left me at the very edge. I almost fell off the bed, so I surrendered. I knew Gerard wouldn't really let me fall, because he's way too protective. I think the closest thing to dropping me he'd ever do would be setting me down gently. Still, I didn't want to take any chances here.

"Fine! I'll get ready!"

"Good girl," he chuckled, then he pulled me back slightly so I wasn't so close to the edge of the bed anymore. I sat up and rubbed my eyes, letting them adjust to the sunlight that was pouring into our hotel room through the curtains. I looked at Gerard, and I realized he wasn't ready yet either. He was still in the pajama pants he had slept in, and it was obvious he hadn't showered or anything yet. I raised an eyebrow at him.

"You make such a fuss about me not being ready, but you're not even ready?"

"You were sleeping on me, and you looked peaceful. If I left to get ready, I'd have to lift you off of me, and that would have woken you. I'll just get ready with you."

"Fine," I agreed, then I started to get out of bed, but Gerard grabbed my arm and stopped me.

"Uh-uh. Aren't you forgetting something?"

I tried to think of anything I could possibly be forgetting. "I don't think so."

He rolled his eyes and chuckled. "Where's my good-morning kiss?"

I giggled slightly, then I placed a quick kiss to his lips.

"Much better," he stated after we pulled away. "Do you remember how I was listing your duties yesterday? I wanna add 'good morning kisses' to that list. You have to do that. Also, goodnight kisses too. Those are important."

"I love when you're all cute and affectionate like this," I said.

"I'm always affectionate when it comes to you. I'm always ready to show you how much I love you."

I blushed. "I love you too. Now, let's go get ready."

We both got up, and the first thing we did was brush our teeth. He bumped me with his hip a few times, so I giggled slightly and did the same to him. This eventually escalated to a little play-fight, which consisted of us shoving each other and hogging the sink. I eventually won, so I got to rinse my mouth out before he did.

After we brushed our teeth, it was time to shower. Of course, this led to us arguing about who get to shower first.

"You got the sink first, so I should get the shower!" Gerard claimed.

"Nuh-uh! When I won the sink, I won my right to shower first," I protested.

"But you take longer showers than me!"
