S: *plunges my sword into someone’s heart, hearing them grunt and their body go limp. I quickly pull my sword out and whip around, slicing someone’s neck off with a horrifying splat sound*

Z: *walks down the long, cold hallways of the castle, it was fairly early in the morning and I needed to report to my father, the king, for my daily assignment*

S: *I wipe my bloody blade off with some dead man’s back. I huff and turn around looking at my surviving crew mates* Captain! *my best mate, John, yells running towards me, I turn* Where are the rest of the men? *I ask sheathing my sword*

Z: *I stop before the throne room, the two guards in front of it nod, recognizing me and open the doors, my feet glide along the red velvet rugs leading to the three thrones near the far end of the room, my father and mother occupying two of them*

S: *I yawn lazily as the rest of the crew members come out of their hiding spots to wipe their blades in the sand. I walk quickly back to my ship yelling orders to ready the cannons and lower canvas. I climb the side of the boat quickly, stepping on deck and walking to my cabin*

Z: Good morning *I greet them lightly picking up my dress going up the steps to my throne beside my father, they smile warmly and greet me back and begin to lecture me on today’s schedule, I quietly sigh and slump down a little not really listening*

S: *I close my door as I see a bare leg sneaking its way out of my bathroom door, I rub my forehead before putting my effects down walking to the door*

Z: Zoe, are you even listening? *my mother says loudly snapping me out of my daze, I nod and straighten up facing her. Quite honestly, I hated my job as an assassin for my family, but of course, I didn’t have a choice*

S: *she squeals as I wrap my arm around her waist picking her up lightly. I forgot about her appointment, Paige had me for an hour*

Z: *after I am assigned today’s kill, I head back to my bedroom and grab my cloak, after changing out of my dress. I had to head out immediately, today I had to go to the south side of the lower village, and that was a long journey. I grab my sword letting it glint in the sunlight for a second before securing it in my belt*

S: *Two hours later, I yell at the men to lower the anchor. We pull onto our island, which we claimed as our own since it was deserted. We called our island Ocean-Bound. I grab a rope falling to the ground. My boots pick up some sand as I walk across the small beach. The crew unloads the treasure for today as I go into the forest. I keep walking until I come across a large tree, a small pond was on one side with the light hitting the middle sending a reflection on the trunk of the tree. I grab a branch and start to climb*

Z: *I walk through the dirty, poor village with the hood of my cloak up and the strings tied below my chin, I look at some filthy children begging wandering adults for any spare money or food, most getting rejected. I pull up my hood more and keep walking ignoring them*

S: *I climb the tree grabbing the wood plank, I haul myself up stepping on the multiple planks. I built my little house or room or whatever because none of the crew members could climb trees as well or as fast as me. I walk across the multiple boards, sitting down on the edge of plank looking down at the small pond*

Z: *I get into the house of the man I’ve been assigned to kill, the door was unlocked. He had a shabby little home, the straw on the roof stray in lots of spots letting bits of sunlight in, a few clay jugs spread around the room, some broken. The man was lying on a bed of straw, fast asleep, I recognized him as someone who once worked for my father. I slip the sword out of my belt with ease and aim right over his heart*

S: *I lay on my back before hearing the grass rustling. I look down seeing Sherry, I smile and grab my rope ladder. She takes a while to get up to the planks. She wraps her arms around my neck smirking* Did you forget about my appointment? *she asks pouting slightly, I shake my head slightly* How could I ever forget you?

Z: *after the job is done, I wipe my sword against a tattered piece of clothing on the ground, I hear a faith flapping of wings and my messenger hawk comes through the open window with a rolled piece of paper on his right leg, I take it and open it meeting the face of my next assignment*

S: *she leads me to a huge mattress on the planks, I feel my back hit the covers. I smirk as she crawls over my built body*

Z: *for the next hour or so, I show the picture of the man to people around the village asking if they’ve seen him, so far no luck, I sigh in frustration and keep asking around*

S: *I lay in bed comfy under my sheets, Sherry snuggling up to my side. I move my dark brown hair away from my blue colored eyes. All the girls said that my eyes were the same color as the sea, I look at Sherry’s sleeping form before getting up and putting on some clothes. It was time we went to Tortuga*
