The Fight of Love
A boy named Luis has transferred from a school to ours. He is very quiet, but very sharp. Because of his silent personality, no one talks to him. I take pity and made friends with him.
As I learned about him better, I learned that he is a very intelligent boy. He could solve any Math problem given to him than any of us. He knows many things that made him very interesting to listen.
He may have all the good qualities of a student, but he is not that good-looking. He is a thin boy, face covered with freckles. However, he is a very kind person and a pleasant disposition.
One day, I learned that he likes a girl in our school. That was Mila, and you could say that she is really very beautiful.
Because of Mila’s pretty face and kind attitude, almost half of our class tried to win her heart. But Luis never attempted because he is very shy and mostly nervous in front of someone.
One day, news spread like fire that almost burned Luis’s heart to ashes. Mila answered a boy named Francis. This is not surprising for us because Francis is really handsome and also a son of the richest business man in their city.
This made Luis cry. The news almost crushed his heart. Because I am the only person that knows this, I said that it is alright, but it did not make sense to him. I tried to comfort him, but he only ignored me and went straight to home.
One day, Mila and Francis are on the back of the school, so almost no one sees them. They were arguing and Mila is crying. We happened to walk by and saw Francis hurting Mila and this angered Luis.
He ran straight to them and tried to protect Mila. However, he is no match for the big body of Francis. He was punched and hurt. I ran to call away the teachers to stop them.
When the teachers came, Luis is full of bruises, his mouth is bleeding. Our teachers ordered them to stop and quickly called an ambulance to carry Luis to the hospital.
I came to the hospital with him, watching that he is almost paralyzed and his right arm is broken. I almost cried seeing him beaten up, and I did nothing to help him.
The Principal called Francis at he is immediately dropped out of school. Mila is seating in the waiting bench comforted by her friends because she still can’t get over. As soon as she saw me, she run to me and asked about the condition of Luis. I told him that he is okay, only sleeping now to rest.
The next day, I, together with Mila, went to the hospital to visit Luis. I told her on the way how Luis admired her and how the news of Francis and her relationship with him saddened Luis. Mila was speechless, however, she promised to make Luis happy.
On the ward where Luis is staying, I left them there to talk. After a while, Mila came out smiling and very happy, as if almost something good happened to them and Luis.
I talked to Luis what happened, and he told me that nothing happened. I did not ask him anymore longer to make him rest better and recover quickly.
After a few weeks, he came back to school and quickly caught up with our lessons. After school, I tried to locate him, and found him with Mila, holding hands.
