       (Dallon POV)

When Dallon got home to his large apartment, which had too much empty space because he was alone now, but he didn't mind it. He plopped on the couch and realized he hadn't gotten Brendon's number so he just had to wait.

5PM. Nothing, no calls or texts yet. Maybe he was just busy. Or maybe he didn't want to talk at all.

6:30PM. His phone buzzed and he picked it up immediately. Just a twitter notification.

9:15PM. Dallon's phone started ringing. It was an unknown number, good It was probably Brendon.

        "Hello?"

"Yo, Dallon. Sorry it's so late. I had to deal with some stuff. Sarah wants to leave sooner than later" Brendon sounded so sad and it broke his heart knowing his old friend was hurting like that.

Dallon smiled when he heard the familiar voice. "It's fine. I'm sorry again about her. Maybe tomorrow night we can get a beer or something?"

"Yeah that sounds great, well I have to get some sleep. I have a long day ahead of me." He sighed.

"Alright.  C'ya tomorrow. We can meet at the end of 5th Avenue. Let's say 6PM?"

"Sounds fine to me. Night man." Brendon hung up.

Dallon didn't think this was possible. He had almost completely forgotten about Brendon. And now he's going out having beers with him. What a crazy world. If anything this was all a huge dream and he was just making it all up in his head. He slid off his jeans, shirt and put on some sweats. He plugged in his phone. He lay there for a while in the dark thinking about the good times he had with the band. He remembered Brallon, and Ryden, he chuckled to himself. He remembered all the after show talks and stupid texts about shit he didn't care about. Though he always seemed to care when is was Brendon. Not Ryan...Not Kenneth. Brendon always had a special place in his heart.

He looked at the time.. 2AM. He turned off his lamp and closed his eyes. He was asleep in seconds.

             (Brendon POV)

"What the fuck Sarah?!" Brendon yelled, trying to keep his voice quiet enough to not wake the kids.

"I'm sorry! I've told you so many damn times! What do you want?? My kidney or something!" She snapped.

"I want you out of my house by tomorrow. Go stay with Ryan, and take the kids. I don't trust myself to be a good father for them.

"Oh my GOD! You are their FATHER! Their father" She was practically screaming.

"That's not what you told Ryan. I can't believe this. Just get away from me. I need to be alone." He sighed.

Sarah pushed passed him and ran into the bedroom slamming the door. Brendon was left alone in their living room.

Their relationship had been like this for the past five months. Hidden phone calls, deleted messages. He knew something was up, he wasn't stupid. And who could blame her? Her husband had turned into a drug addict and she was alone with two kids who probably weren't even his. He'd lost his wife and it was his fault. He drove her away and she went to the only single man she was close with. Ryan Ross.. He couldn't believe it.

Brendon felt true pain then. Loss even. He sat there for a few minutes, then remembered Dallon's number in his pocket. He sat there thinking about calling it..9:00pm..He thought it was too late by then. 9:15PM..He just needed to hear his voice.

He picked up on the third ring. "Hello?" Asked a sleepy voice from the other end.

He again, wanted to sound casual. "Yo, Dallon. Sorry it's so late. I had to deal with some stuff. Sarah wants to leave sooner than later." He had calmed down, though his voice was still a little hoarse from yelling.

Dallon apologized..more sympathized for the way Sarah was acting. Brendon felt bad for telling the lie, but he didn't want to seem like he had turned into a horrible guy. His face lit up when Dallon asked him if he wanted to go to the bar the next night. He didn't know why that made him so happy but it did. Pretty much anything could make him happy with the state of mind he was in at the moment. They made plans to meet on the corner of 5th Avenue at 6PM.

"Yeah that sounds great, well I have to get some sleep. I have a long day ahead of me." He just wanted to lay there and die. He didn't think about Dallon at all before that day. The way he spoke, his sleepy voice was so soothing. What was he thinking? Dallon was his old best friend. They hadn't talked for almost five years, of course his thoughts about him would be different. Maybe this was a new start for them. Who knows. Brendon stretched out on the couch, shoes still on and fell asleep with his phone resting on his chest. It would be a normal day tomorrow. Just some guys going out for some drinks.
