In Switzerland, Dr. Axel is given a second chance to escape from his boring routine when offered a position in the exotic, sex-laden Brazil, where everyone is pursuing his or her own hidden agenda.

How these two characters will meet is the heart of the plot, which has taken Brazil by storm. The author's unique narrative style, often in present tense, places the reader right in the middle of the action making virtually impossible to stop reading. The usage of existing scenarios contributes to further blur the borders between fiction and reality.
