COLUMBUS, OH - Police are searching for a 15-year-old girl who was last seen Saturday night around eight by her parents, Nia and Michael Carlton.

Authorities say Alexandria Carlton went to her boyfriend's house, near Hendrix Street and Sunnyvale Road, to spend the night. She went missing somewhere after 11 pm.

We reached out to her boyfriend's parents, hoping to get a statement. The mother of the 15-year-old said that Alexandria did arrive at her house to visit her son whom is considered a suspect in the case.

"Alex came to our house around eight-thirty that night. It was normal behavior for her to stay the night to see my son more," she explained. "We all had dinner and then she went to the park with my son and daughter. That's the last time I saw her."

Nia Carlton just wants someone to reach out and reveal if they saw anything suspicious. "My daughter is missing and nobody is saying that they saw anything strange. Someone must have. She just didn't disappear into thin air!"

When asked if she thought Alexandria's boyfriend had anything to do with the case, she shook her head. "He's a good kid and he loved her. He would never hurt her and I believe that wholeheartedly. However, I want the person that did take her to step up and bring her home. I just want my baby to be safe again."

Alexandria is described as about five feet, three inches tall, 124 pounds, with green eyes and dark, curly, hair. She was last seen wearing a black Nirvana pullover, a yellow and blue letter jacket, blue jeans and black converse sneakers, according to the police.

We attempted to reach out to Alexandria's boyfriend, whom we aren't allowed to reveal his name, to get a direct statement, but we have not received any comment back.
He was brought in for questioning earlier the morning.

Anyone with information on the missing is asked to call the Columbus' Crime Stoppers hotline. The public can also submit their tips by logging onto the Crime Stoppers website or by texting TIPS.
