Chapter 1 - The Sign

A/N: This is my first story I've written on here so sorry if it's bad :s

Chapter 1

Jen's P.O.V

"One Direction! One Direction! One Direction!" We screamed, so loudly it hurt our throats. It felt like I was dreaming, and I was about to wake up any second. I was standing here with my four best friends, all of us holding onto a large banner we'd made together, and we were about to meet the boys of our dreams. We had to be the oldest there - there were 12 year olds, 13 year olds and 14 year olds, but I didn't see anyone who looked 16, like we were. I held my breath in anticipation as a big black car pulled up right in front of where we were standing. Some people screamed even more, but I fell silent, not quite believing what was happening.

Rachel, one of my best friends, grabbed my arm, grinning. "They're here!" She said excitedly. Her long brown hair was blowing about and getting in her eyes, but she didn't seem to care. She was shaking too, but I assumed it was from excitement.

"I can't believe this!" Sarah stood on my other side, jumping up and down. "Remind me to grab Louis' bum, Okay guys?" Sarah always managed to make us laugh. She was just like Louis - talkative and funny.

I kept my eyes glued to the car door, when, all of a sudden, it slid open, and out jumped Harry Styles. His curly hair started blowing started blowing about in the wind - he pushed it back with his hand and started walking towards us, smiling. His smile was so amazing.

"Harry! I love you so much!" Rachel said to him, and he gave her a massive hug. He gave all of us a hug. We couldn't believe our luck.

"Hi, how are you?" He was saying. He moved away, going to meet some more fans.

Niall Horan followed shortly, waving and grinning to everyone. Vaila reached right over the metal railing which was holding us back, and Niall saw her and hugged her. Vaila almost fainted.

Zayn came out next. "Wow, love the banner." He said to us. "Who did all the drawing?"

"Er, that was me." Holly said, and Zayn gave her the most adorable smile before going to hug us all.

Louis Tomlinson jumped out of the car, looking bubbly and happy as usual. He ran over to us, hugged us all quickly and was about to go and hug more fans, when Sarah reached over the railing and grabbed his bum, like promised. We all burdt out laughing, and Louis said, "Woah, steady on, save that for the second date." Of course, that made us laugh even more.

"Can I have a second date, then?" Sarah asked. Louis winked, pulled a pen out of his pocket and bent down to write something on our banner. He then waved goodbye and ran off.

Liam was behind him. I nearly fainted, he looked so gorgeous.

"Hi, what's your name?" He asked, looking directly at me.

"It's Jen." I smiled, and went to go give him a hug.

"Lovely name," He whispered in my ear, and went to go hug all my other friends and ask them the same question. My heart was racing. I opened my mouth to speak, but no words came out. I couldn't believe it.

The boys stood outside the building they were signing in for two seconds, waved, and soon, were gone. I looked at my friends. We were all so happy; tears were streaming down our faces.

"Hey, what did Louis write on the banner?" Holly asked suddenly. Sarah picked it up and held it close to her face.

"Oh my god... You'll never believe this." She whispered. She held the banner out so we could all see. I gasped, shocked.

Written on the bottom of the banner, in tiny, neat writing, was, "Second date? Nando's at 6pm. We'll see you there..."
