A Strange Kind of Love Chapter 6-Goku and Kagome...Who Will Win?

Kagome was livid. She was waiting for the demon before her to make a move. She was ready to pounce. Goku was smirking. He was waiting for Kagome to lash out at him and make a move. He thought," Oh Lady Kagome you have no idea what I'm capable of. I may look or at least feel like a middle class demon but I'm much more stronger than you think." Kagome and Goku were circling each other calculating who would move first. Goku taunted," Come on Lady Kagome take the first shot I know you want to. I hear from many humans and demons alike that you are very powerful and dangerous to mess with but so far I'm not seeing how you a human could be dangerous all I see is a human ready to die." Kagome just glared icily with her blue eyes but didn't even move to kill him she just ignored the taunting and waited for him to do something. She held no emotion whatsoever. When Goku saw that she wasn't affected by his taunting he got frustrated and yelled in pure anger and frustration," Do something wench!" And with that the battle began. Goku swung his spear at Kagome and Kagome just dodged with ease.

Meanwhile Inuyasha and Kikyo were finally free from the arrows that bound them. They shared a look that said they knew this day would come. The day where she would come back for revenge. What they didn't see coming is this Goku Natsu guy. They also knew that once Kagome was done with Goku she would come looking for them. All they could do was gulp in the horror that she would come after them with tortious intent. They were routing for Kagome all the way with that fight with Goku though. They didn't under any circumstance trust that demon. He was after all associated with Naraku. They then decided it was time to leave knowing that Kagome would just catch them anyway but at the moment they didn't want to be tortured either so they ran as fast as they could at the same time wishing Kagome good luck in her fight.

Sesshomaru watched as Inuyasha and Kikyo fled the forest to go back to the village. He knew though there was no way they could escape Kagome. She would get them in the end. He then turned back to the fight before him. Kagome was amazing. The miko was handling the fight just fine. Goku on the other hand seemed to be losing his cool. Goku was hitting everything on the money except for Kagome. She was just too fast for him. Sesshomaru jumped down from the tree he was in. He knew for a fact that even if Kagome was amazing and was doing just superb in the fight he knew that something would go terribly wrong. So he stood by the tree he was in hidden from view of course and he had his hand on the hilt of his sword, Bakusaiga, just in case Kagome needed a saving. There was no way he was going to let that lowly demon hurt his Kagome. Yea that's right HIS.

Kagome was dodging and weaving at the shots that were being aimed her way. She even got some shots in herself. She thought," This guy is too easy and he calls himself powerful and challenging. I'm tired of weaving and dodging how about we have some fun shall we?" Kagome then did something Goku didn't expect. With one katana Kagome pinned Goku to a tree while with the other katana she held it across his neck. Kagome said," Sorry Goku I'm tired of this game I want to do something a little more interesting. So how about this we go to hand to hand combat and we can use our powers." Goku said," Well now Lady Kagome I-" he never got to finish because the katana that was at his neck edged in with more force than before. Kagome snarled," I'm not done yet you imp." Kagome continued once again calm," We can at any time start to use our weapons again if we get tired of using our powers and hand to hand combat. Once I release you we can begin again." Kagome did as she said she would and the battle began again. The two were throwing punches and kicks like no tomorrow. Kagome blocked a punch from Goku and countered one of her own but in hers she put some of her miko powers in it and aimed for Goku's jaw. The punch landed exactly where Kagome wanted it to go and had the desired effect. There on the ground was Goku with a very sore jaw and a bloody mouth. Goku spit out the blood and was in the middle of getting up off the ground when a miko power filled kick hit him square in the stomach. Goku dropped to the ground groaning in pain. Kagome then took this chance and grabbed her twin katanas and had them at Goku's neck within seconds. Kagome asked," Any last words?" Goku smirked and said," Yea this battle ain't over yet." Goku held out his hand and his spear came flying over to him. The second the spear touched his hand he shoved it in Kagomes direction. Just before the spear tip touched her Kagome jumped back and was in her battle stance once again. This time Goku didn't hesitate to go after Kagome. He swung and jabbed at her with his spear. Once he got close enough he found an open spot which happened to be Kagome's chest. Goku jabbed his spear at the open spot but just before the spear got to the desired spot Kagome blocked it with her katanas in a X formation and she cut the metal part of the spear off. Goku was now left with a pole. Goku tried his best to defend himself with the pole but in the end he lost his weapon. Goku was now on the ground with Kagome above him with one katana at his throat while the other was in stab formation at his chest. Kagome then reasked," Any last words before I kill you?" Goku chuckled and said," Naraku will prevail and he will get you Lady Kagome. He will get you." Before he could say more Kagome said," Not today he isn't." And with that Kagome drove her miko power filled katana into Goku's chest. All you could hear is Goku's pain filled scream for miles. Goku's body was turned to ash as Kagome took her katana out of his chest.

With that Kagome walked away from the battle scene and joined up with Sesshomaru who just joined Kagome for the walk back to the village. Sesshomaru was proud of Kagome and knew she needed some rest after that long battle. So he picked her up bridal style and continued to walk back to the village. Right now Kagome was so very happy that she had Sesshomaru with her and that he was carrying her back to the village. She was super exhausted and just wanted some rest. So Kagome snuggled up into Sesshomaru's embrace and fell into a well needed and well relaxed deep sleep.
