~Jamie~

We soon arrived at the old hospital. Jesy drove the car in such a rush that we arrived almost 5 minutes earlier than a normal day.

Except, this wasn't a normal day at all. On the way here, Jesy informed us that the doctors discovered Elena was having a nightmare. The nurse was buzzed into her room after her heart monitor was going up.

They also said she was breathing heavy and moving around in the bed. This was a good sign to all of us. The doctors said that she might wake up out of this dream. That's why we were called.

They said that they wanted us to see it first hand, and they probably knew if we weren't informed, we would be pissed off.

We all sat around Elenas bedside as her breathing was now normal. The doctors gave her some more medicine to help her calm down. I hope she wakes up.

"How long do think it will take?" I asked.

"Well, the doctor said it could be anytime, a minute, a month, a year. We wouldn't be able to tell." Leigh answered.

"I hope it's soon." I said sighing.

"We all do honey." Jade smiled and placed her hand over mine. I returned the smile. Then turned back to watching Elena.

I had a long range of emotions about her waking up. Happy, excited, thrilled, and mostly scared. I heard she was a bad ass. So I felt slightly intimidated by her.

I also hope she doesn't become mad at me for having the girls for so long. I didn't come here to replace her, so I was gonna be as nice to her as possible.

Maybe she heard my speech? If she did then maybe she will know I'm not trying to do anything bad. I'm just looking for a family, like she is.

I hope we can be friends, sisters, best friends. Any of that would work. I just wanted to get along with her, not fight.

I often wondered what happened to her parents, I know living in an orphanage makes us alike in some ways. I don't think we went to the same place though.

The orphanage I lived in was a beautiful place. The people were somewhat nice. And all we had to do was keep our grades up, and do chores.

I rarely do chores with the girls, unless it's my own room. Or I occasionally sweep the kitchen. Jesy usually makes one of the other girls clean out of punishment, which is quite funny.

I pushed those stupid thoughts out of my head and focused on what was in front of me.

Four girls who I met a few month's ago. And well Elena too, but she's sleeping.

You can tell from the look in their eyes they were pondering over something. I probably knew what it was, I just wanted to give them space.

"Mind if I go for a walk?" I asked.

They looked at each other, uncertain.

"You can go, just stay inside of the hospital and stay out of the nurse's way." Jesy said. She was the mother to me.

I nodded and got up, they needed alone time with Elena. I could sense it.

I walked around the hallways. Searching for where the router was located for the wifi I picked up. I found it close to a small gift shop.

I decided to look around in it for a while. I didn't have money on me, but that was ok. I found many adorable 'Get Well Soon' cards, flowers, and other little gifts.

This place was packed with stuff. They had a small cooler for drinks. Usually food is down at the cafeteria.

I went downstairs and looked around. The bottom floor was elegant and fancy. The front desk was huge and stood high. (I'm just going by what the hospital in my area is like)

I decided to bend the rules a tad bit and walk outside. I only stood outside of the four double doors. That way I wouldn't get in huge trouble if they found out I left.

The sidewalk was almost empty of all activity. I leaned against the wall and put my right foot against it. I watched as the parking lot filled with people moved around like ants.

Nobody seemed to notice me, as I kicked a small pebble. The air was clear and refreshed, like a cool summer morning breeze.

After standing outside for roughly 15 minutes, I checked my phone and realized I've been walking around for nearly 45 minutes.

Deciding to head back up before they panicked, I quickly went back inside. The elevator was empty and I arrived back to the room in 2 short minutes.

As I walked back inside of the hospital room, I noticed they all had puffy red eyes. They've obviously been crying. Which means I was right, they needed alone time with her.

I took my seat back and watched as Perrie wiped her eyes.

"Do you guys want to go get something to eat?" Leigh asked.

"Sure, we can go down to the cafeteria. What are they serving today Jamie?" Perrie asked me.

I shrugged, "I think they've made chicken strips, pizza, and whatever else they make. I haven't gotten to go down there."

"Then what were you doing for a whole 45 minutes?" Jesy questioned me sternly.

"I walked around, went to the little gift shop, and searched for the wifi router. Which is very hard." I stated.

They all started laughing at my stupid comment.

"That's what you did the whole time?" Jade asked.

I nodded, not fully lying.

"Ok, ok." Leigh said.

"Well do you want to come with us?" Jesy asked. I shook my head.

"All that walking made me tired."

She giggled, "Ok, then behave up here." I nodded as they got up to leave.

I sat in the room for 15 minutes, mostly texting Mason. The girls still haven't come back. I wonder how many times they got lost?

What almost gave me a heart attack, was when I looked up and saw a pair of green eyes watching me.
