Dylan had been exceptionally clingy the past few days. Maybe it's an instinct, maybe she for sure knows something is gonna happen, but she refuses to let Olivia out of her sight. It's not a huge issue, though. Cragen gave her the option of desk duty or to to take vacation days before she starts using maternity leave. There's no way she was going to just sit around the precinct, doing nothing, and feeling like shit. That wasn't an option in her mind.
So, she stays home with Dylan and Elliot doesn't like it. Why doesn't he like it? Because he thinks she's babying Dylan too much and it doesn't help when she allows her to skip preschool.
Olivia could care less about what he thinks, though. She's about to pop and can get away with whatever the hell she wants to."Babe, it's just preschool, and so what if she gets babied?"
"Liv, I know you feel all weird and pregnant, and maybe you 'need' to baby the kids, but they won't ever learn how to be independent if-"
"I'm not hormonal! They're kids, they don't need to be independant right now!" Olivia yells at him. She knows how dumb that sounds, but she doesn't really care. "Why is even such a big deal to you?"
"Maybe you need-"
"To get the hell away from you!" Olivia grabs her purse and calls for Dylan.
"Where are you going?"
"Dylan said she wanted to get ice cream for everyone, so she's coming with me to pick it out," Olivia tells him matter-of-factly. "Is that okay with you?"
Elliot is obviously annoyed with her and her mood swings, her taking offence to any and everything, and honestly just wants her to shut up and stop talking. "Fine, then. Go."
"Excuse me?"
"Go get your damn ice cream, Olivia!"
"Go fu-" she stops herself when she remembers that Dylan is now standing next to her. "Give daddy hugs and kisses!" she tells Dylan. Dylan rushed over to give him a hug and kiss and then ran back to her mother. "We'll be back later." Obviously.

Olivia began scooping the rocky road ice cream into three bowls. "Do you want some?"
"No, i'm fine," Elliot tells her as he started up the stairs.
"Fine.." Olivia put the ice cream away and told the kids to sit at the table, and they did, before they began eating.
"What's wrong with you, Liv?"
"Olivia put her bowl down and walked as fast as she could to him and gave him the death glare. "Me? What's wrong with you? I haven't done anything to you, Elliot!" she yells in a whisper.
"Do you ever just stop talking? Can't you do that for five seconds?"
"..Get out of my face.."
"You know i'm right!" he chuckles, making a jke of the situation. "If you'd just stop talking, stop thinking, just sit down and take a deep breath, maybe you wouldn't be so upset all the time."
"You wanna know what makes me upset all the time?"
"What?"
"You." She went to turn away from him, but he grabbed her arm and pulled her back to him, planting a kiss on her lips. She didn't pull herself from his grip, she didn't tell him to stop, but she kissed him back. "I can't stand you!"
Elliot ran his hand down to her lower back and then her ass, gripping it and then kneading it like dough. "God, you're so gorgeous!"
"I know!" she agrees, kissing him again,, this time with tongue, lots of it, and moans into his mouth.
