A/N This chapter is mostly just introducing the other characters so you can get a feel on everyone.
CALLIE P.O.V *PRESENT*
"WHAT'S SO GOOD ABOUT PICKING UP THE PIECES?!" We sang (screamed), while driving down the highway in my 2012 Jeep Wrangler. "NONE OF THE COLORS EVER LIGHT UP ANYMORE IN THIS HOLE!" we continued, as the windows shook from the sound of my stereo. "JUST GIVE HER BACK TO ME" We got off at our exit and pulled onto my street, into my driveway. "YOU KNOW I CAN'T AFFORD THE MEDICINE THAT FEEDS WHAT I NEED! SO BABY WHAT IF I CANT FORGET YOU" I put the jeep in park, and turned it off.
"I can't wait until tonight!" Liana screamed as we entered my house with Jaelyn following.
"It's going to be fucking epic!" yelled Jaelyn.Today is my 26th birthday, and today we had plans to go to an overnight concert. Overnight concerts not happen often. It's kind of like warped, besides it starts when the sun goes down, and ends when the sun comes up. I've never been to one, because it cost a lot of money and I usually live too far away. But this year, it happens to be on my birthday, and I now make enough money now that my career is talking off to go. Jaelyn's cousin Christofer also happens to be in a band, and helped us out.
Hold on, I should probably stop and give you some idea of myself and my friends. My name is Callie Peer. I have black, curly-ish hair and a hoop nose ring on the left side of my nose. Hovering over my dark, brown eyes is a black, spike eyebrow ring located on my left brow. I moved to Cali to open up my own animal shelter. I met Liana and Jaelyn about a year ago at warped tour and we've been best friends ever since. Liana is the youngest, she just turned 24. She has bright, pink hair, which brings out her gorgeous green eyes. Jaelyn is the oldest, she is 27. She has short, red hair and green-ish eyes and her nose pieced too.
Anyways;
We spent the next hour getting ready for the big night. I decided on black skinnies and my Bring me the Horizon tee with black toms. We then packed our shit, then headed out the door. "Where are Calvin and Brad meeting us?" I asked as we pulled out of my gravel driveway.
"They told us to pick them up at Brad's grandmas. Go down to Miller Street and turn left." Jaelyn instructed. "Where are we picking up Evan?"
"He said he is going to meet us there". I look at the girls with a faint smile.
"Yeah, we all know what that means." Liana said.
"No, he promised that he wasn't going to cancel this time. He promised he would spend my birthday with me." The air filled with an awkward silence for a few minutes, until finally Jaelyn plugged in her phone and turned on the music.
When we arrived at Brad's grandma's house, they were already outside ready to go. Calvin jumped in the back with Liana, gave her a kiss then buckled his seatbelt. Brad took a minute to beg for the front seat, after Jaelyn refused multiple times he gave up, gave her a big kiss and sat next to Calvin in the back.
The concert was only a half hour away, so we got there before the sun even went down.
