[Accelerator's POV]

"Ugh...how long was I out?" I thought, finally coming to. My head was pounding and the rest of my body ached just as bad. It wasn't normal, waking up in pain, but it happened, somehow. "The hell was up with that kid's hand?" I thought again, not yet opening my eyes.
     It was then I noticed my surroundings. There was no way this was the ground. And that was the last thing I remembered. That forced me to open my eyes. I had to know where I was. I was immediately blinded by light, and ignoring the pain that protested motion, I sat up, trying to see until my eyes adjusted. When at last they did I looked around quickly. The light that had temporarily blinded me turned out to be a simple table lamp, and in the chair, not far from me, was a girl. She was asleep, but still, I had to keep my guard up.
     I went to stand but was met with a soft groan from the sleeping figure. Naturally, I glanced back at her and as I did, she woke up. "Oh! You're finally awake!" She said, sitting up, "I was getting worried."
"Why?" I asked. "I've taken worse. You coulda left me."
"You were unconscious." She replied, a deadpan glare on her face.
"Oh well." I said with a shrug. "It's not like I asked for some girl who just happened to be around to save me."
"Wow. You're sure grateful." She said. "But what did I expect? Everyone at the top of anything are assholes." She just seemed irritated.
There was no use arguing with her, and I guessed that here would be better than anywhere else I'd end up. It couldn't have been too long before morning now, anyway.
     Alright so what to say next? She was clearly mad and though I wanted to just leave, something compelled me to stay. "Look, I'm sorry. I-" I started to say, her saying the same thing. I shut up, letting her finish.
     "I'm sorry. I guess this really isn't the best way to start off." She said.
     "No kidding.." I thought.
     "I'm (Y/N)." She finished, sitting up more.
     "I'm Accelerator." I said in reply.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
     I honestly can't believe I stayed just to talk to this girl for three hours. It was odd really. But by the time morning came, I finally had an excuse to leave, and so I did. There was no way that she could have been searching for information, and from what I could tell, she was just a kid who happened to be in the wrong, or right (?), place at the wrong, or once again, right (?) time.
