Dr. Leonard 'Bones' McCoy always seemed lonely. He never had a girl on his arm, until he met me.
"Good. Now, just make sure you don't go too low when stitching. if you do, it will heal wrong and hurt too." Dr. McCoy said.
I concentrated on what I was doing. It was a little difficult, seeing as my teacher was really cute. "So, like this?" I stuck the needle into the dummy's arm and pulled a stitch.
He looked at it for a few seconds and patted my head. "Exactly. You're my best student ya know, Allie."
I smiled at him, "I know!"
He smiled back and walked to another student.
I watched him walk away and poked myself with the needle. "Ow!" I looked at my finger that was bleeding a bit. I wiped it on my pants and went back to work. I was the oldest in the class, and only a year younger than Dr. McCoy.
Class was over and we all walked out.
I turned a corner and someone was standing there in a black coat. I just walked around them, not wanting to bother the person. As I stepped around him he grabbed my arm.
"Excuse me. Do I know you?"
"Oh no. But that's okay." His voice was deep and his grip was tight.
I tried pulling my arm away. "Let me go." His grip got tighter.
"Don't struggle. it will make it worse."
"Leave me alone!" This time I tried to yank my arm away.
"I said to not STRUGGLE!" He twisted my arm and I heard a snap. my eyes teared up. He snapped my arm in half.
"Please. What do you want?"
"Nothing." He said.
I was holding back tears. "Then why are you doing this?"
I saw him smile. "Because I want to."
I wanted to pull away again but I knew I couldn't.
He gripped my broken arm tight, making the pain worse. Then he kicked my leg and I dropped to my knees.
"Just... Don't scream."
I wimpered but nodded.
"Good." He pulled out a knife.
I bit my lip and whimpered again, letting a tear or two sneak out.
He took the knife and sliced deep in my broken arm. He then moved it to my face. He made a slice across my right cheekbone. A few more tears escaped and they made the cut sting.
I then heard something, someone was coming down the hall. I wanted to scream for them, but I remembered, I shouldn't. My attacker heard them too and dropped me and ran.
There I was, laying on the ground with a broken arm and two deep cuts. There was blood of the floor and I continued to lose it. I looked up to see who was coming. Sure enough, Dr. McCoy.
I decided to call to him, "Dr. McCoy! Dr. McCoy! I need help!"
He heard me and started running over.
"My god, what happened to you?"
"I don't know. Someone attacked me. My arm is snapped in half." I tried lifting my arm, but failed by wincing at pain.
"Okay, okay." He bent over and lifted me up. He carried me into the medical area. When we got there he laid me on the bed.
"You're going to be fine." He grabbed some stitches and stuff to make a splint.
"Do you want me to help?"
"No. Just lay there and key me fix you."
I nodded.
He started to stitch me up. It didn't really hurt, even on my face. He worked the splint around my arm and reset the bone. It hurt and a few tears escaped.
He looked up just in time to see them roll down my cheeks.
"Shhhh. It's okay. I know it hurts." He finished what he was doing with my arm and wiped my tears away. He pulled a piece of hair away from my face as well. "You're all better now."
I smiled at him.
He leaned his face towards mine and kissed me. I was surprised, but kissed him back.
"I always wanted to do that." He said.
"So did I."
"Well, you're going to be fine. Just rest, sweetheart." He kissed me and walked out.
