Savannah

Again I was asked if I'd like to leave and go home for a while and for the second time I said no. Half because I loved being on tour and the other half is because I didn't want to be home. Mason was close to home and if I was here I know I would have umpteen security men and woman protecting me.

The downfall to me staying was that I had to see Michael and seeing him was hurting us both. Ashton had tried multiple times to get me to hang out with them but I wasn't going to be around any of them. If I kept them at arms length then they would be safe, and I would do anything to kept them out of harms way.

"Hey, Savannah?" Nicole, who had understood why I acted the way I did the other night, called from down the hall.

"Hey." I semi smiled, slipping my key card into the hotel door.

"I was wondering if you'd like to ride along with me. I was going to get some new lipstick at Sephora and then I'm going to visit my mom." We were in Ohio, Cleveland to be exact, and it was the closest stop to Nicole's home town.

"Sure, when are you leaving?" I asked, opening the door and letting both of us in. I nodded my head, letting her know that I would be okay with going.

Walking into Sephora was like complete heaven, no joke. Make up, beauty supplies, and anything you could think to put in the mix of them both were lined up on shelves and in neat display cases. I wasn't for sure where I should start or if I would ever be able to leave this place.

"I'm only here for lipstick but shopping here never goes as planned so I might leave with a few more bags than planned."

And just like that she was off in a different section of the store than the lipstick. Instead, I went to the eye, wanting to buy some eyeliner. Nicole was awesome at doing my makeup but I wanted some simple things that I could use when I wasn't feeling the need to have a face full of the stuff. Even though I could never get the winged eyeliner the least bit even, I grabbed a tube from the case.

"Excuse me? You're Savannah, right?" I smiled at the lady who was standing just a few feet away from me.

"Yep, that's me." I mused, smiling at her and then seeing the little girl that stood by her feet.

"My daughter absolutely loves you. She saw one of your videos on the television a few weeks back and hasn't stopped watching them since." The young girl moved back into her mom a little bit, an embarrassed look covering her face.

"Talia, do you want to say hi." The mom asked her daughter, causing her to shake her head.

I kneeled down to Talia's size, trying to get some kind of eye contact with her.

"Hi there, Talia." She peeped an eye open, looking at me. I gave her a soft smile, not wanting her to be shy.

"You don't need to be nervous, I just want to give you a hug." She moved a little bit away from her mom until she was smiling and moving fast to hug me. I was a bit surprised by her actions, ending up falling on my butt as her force was a bit more than I thought it would be for a small child like her.

"You're absolutely adorable." I commented, hearing her giggle at my expense. "Do you mind if I get a picture with her?"

I asked her mom, getting a nod for approval and with that I pulled my phone from my front pocket.

"How should we do this, Miss Talia? Wanna do a silly face?" She nodded her head rapidly, almost yelling out her yes. I smiled at her eagerness. With our tongues out and looking away, I snapped the photo
