Chapter 26

~Gem's POV~

When we got to Kate's house Louis and Kate greeted both of us. Also they were quite surprised

"So what you two up to?", Louis asked.

"Do you mind if Gem and I stay here for a little?", Anna asked.

"How long is "a little" while?", Louis asked.

"No Lou", Kate protested. "Yes you two may stay here as long as you want".

"Thank you", I said.

"Here we'll guide you to the spare bedrooms", Kate said. She took us to the rooms and we unpacked our items. I took out my phone and called Niall.

"Hey".

"Hey beautiful. What's up?".

"I miss you already".

"As do I, but I need you to stay with Anna so she feels comforted".

"Okay".

"I love you".

"Love you too".

"Bye".

"Bye".

I hung up the phone and went back to unpacking my things. When I finished I went into the living room where Kate Louis were. They were watching a movie; cuddling up against each other.

"May I join you?", I asked.

"Please", Louis insisted. I say down in the love seat. As for Kate and Louis were on the couch. Then Anna joined us. When the movie was over, Anna explained to Louis and Kate why she needed to be here. They were surprised by what had happened. Then after Anna story, Louis order pizza. This was our take-out dinner. I grabbed a piece of pepperoni pizza from the box. I could barely finish that piece I was stuffed. I went to the room I'll be staying in for...I don't even know how long. I changed into my pajamas and to in bed. I was so tired, maybe it's because of the baby. Or maybe I've been hit by a sleeping ray that some weird alien aimed at me. Probably my first theory. The second my eyes shut I was asleep.

I was running. What was I running from? I turned my head, it was the police. Why were the police after me?! I climbed over tall fence and continued running. Then I ran into a field and stopped. I dropped to the ground. I was laying on my back, looking up at the sky. Then a child walked up to me. A boy. Maybe 3. He looked up at me with he's innocent blue eyes. He looked like he was also running away from something. Or someone. I stood up and picked him up, but we were surrounded. By the tons of police and by a couple. They must be the little boys parents, but why was he scared by them. Then al of a sudden I got this feeling that I had to protect the boy with all that I had. My life. I ripped through the crowd and somehow managed to kill...everyone. I still had the boy in my arms. He head buried in my chest. I ran with him as I could. I ran with him, then I looked down at the boy. I was distracted and didn't notice that I had ran off a cliff. The boy fell out of my arms. We were both falling, and I could see his helpful face that was under me. His back facing the water below. I tried to save him but I couldn't. We were still falling, and I knew we would die.

Then I woke up. Sweat was covering me. I got out of bed and took a long cool shower. Once I got out of the shower I got dressed and walked out to the kitchen, where of course breakfast was being made.
